Used to go here a few times a year and it was solid! Food and service. I don't know if they changed orders but the few meals we shared were borderline nasty. Horrible food now. Soggy. No flavor. Wouldn't trust the kitchen. Stay away

I have many fond memories of China Taipei. The food is always top quality and the place has a cozy atmosphere, where we enjoyed many delicious family dinners. I can definitely recommend this restaurant. The food and service is superb.

China Taipei is one of our go-to places for authentic Chinese food when we're in the southern Denver area. It has a cozy family-owned vibe. The menu is fairly sizeable including several dishes that are quite authentic (Peking Duck, for example, with its crispy skin) or Xihu Soup. Easy parking. Good portions.

The service was generally nice. I arrived after the other group, but I placed my order before they did. The server held my order and processed theirs first because she said they had somewhere to be, even though I also needed to return to work, which is why I tried to order quickly. It was a bit disappointing, but I understand.

However, the food was very disappointing. It was the blandest Taiwanese beef soup I’ve ever had. Even after adding an entire packet of salt, it was still bland. Couldn’t even finish half of the bowl. I’m sorry but it’s blanddddd.

Also, I hope the restaurant can consider investing in new utensils, as the ones provided appeared dirty. Giving the whole tongue in the bowl of soup is a bit unusual, but please at least provide one without residue and stains.

Ordered 5 entree of different chicken and shrimp dishes. Everyone commented how good it was and priced right!
Did pick up on a Saturday night. Everything was ready to go

Absolutely gross. I've eaten here before but this was supposed to be Sesame Tofu. The tofu is soggy with flavorless coating and the sauce doesn't take like sweet and sour. Threw it away it was so bad.

EDIT!! I called and asked for a refund for JUST the tofu. They told me to stay by my phone and a manager would call me back...im still waiting...

Lunch options are good, comes with soup, and wonton or egg roll. Good ambience, and the quantity is reasonable.

My wife and I have been here several times (she is Chinese) and we love it! The food is very authentic (if you order off the traditional menu) and very well priced! Try the grilled spicy fish! We always order 3-4 dishes!
