I play bluegrass music with other musicians Thursdays 7 to 9 pm. Folks at half penny are great hosts. Grab a pizza next door and come visit. Beers great. Home made root beer. Come play and sing!!

This is our go to brewery while the kids are next door training. All staff here are amazing. We have been coming here for about a year now and have developed great relationships with John and Linzie! So happy we stumbled across Half Penny! ♥️

I was pleasantly surprised by their exceptional hospitality. Not only did they offer me a free beer, but their staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The beer selection is impressive, with a great range of flavors to enjoy. Plus, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The staff's friendliness and the quality of the beer made for a memorable visit. Highly recommended for both its fantastic brews and its genuinely nice people!

This place was a regular watering hole for a long time, I discovered it back in late 2015ish when they first opened. Hell im in the picture on the home page of their website. The atmosphere has been up and down through the years with staff changes. The beers have always been okay..some good, some not so. Convenience, being located in my neighborhood, was the biggest draw for me. I have decided I will NOT be coming back after my last interaction with one of the beertenders. Forgot my bike lock, and I went to bring it inside the vistabuel of the front doors. Where I was immediately YELLED at from behind the bar by the beertender say that it couldn't be brought inside. Guy had no chill. Apparently, bikes aren't allowed inside, noted, and doing so warrants getting yelled at by staff. Nice work guy.

Pleasant place, very friendly staff. I had a flight of 4 samplers and they were all tasty. Food truck served - it’s s brewery, not a restaurant. Dog friendly! Lots of seating including comfy couches. Highly recommended.

Love Halfpenny! I come almost weekly for Trivia on Tuesdays and it’s always really well done and keeps me coming back! They have a good beer selection which changes week to week, but they are limited on their non-alcoholic drinks. There’s no food at Halfpenny itself, but there’s often a food truck out front and they are totally ok if you bring food in from a nearby business as well. Bartenders are nice and it’s dog friendly indoors if you want to bring a pup!

So glad to finally find a place that’s dog friendly indoors! John was awesome and great to chat with, and their beer selection is top notch. Will definitely be back soon!

What was once a promising relationship with a brewery down the drain. Kid friendly was one of the reasons we brought our group in and we were all welcomed with opened arms when things were slow here, yet we stayed consistent and came by week in and week out. All started with the bartender being rude to us about moving tables despite being given previous ok in order to do so, not a good look when you yell at our group who have stayed loyal despite things being slow, then today to be told new “unfriendly” policies saw kids need to always stay seated, appreciate you making our kids feel bad and crying because they felt they had done something wrong just being kids and doing what kids do in the corner. Things were nice while they lasted however it’s time to take our business elsewhere as well as any references we have to the Colorado state association we associate with about coming to this place for any future meet ups.

A great atmosphere and friendly beer tenders

Not open at 3:30 pm on a Wednesday so presumably out of business. Halfpenny responded that they will open at 4:30 but full voicemail box also lead me to think they were the Big Gone.

Excellent beer and customer service. Our first time here and the bar tender generously gave us multiple samples and free popcorn! Great music and relaxing atmosphere. Fun spot for playing games.

The place is clean and the patio is great, the people are friendly and the service is also great. I just don't like the beer. I've lived right next to this spot for 3 years and I've tried as many as I could. The few beers that I liked are off the menu a few weeks later.Cheers to the guy who always plays his guitar out back, that's my favorite thing about this place.
