Cafeteria style with 2 separate lanes to move through. A variety of salads, hot dishes & desserts from which you choose as you & your tray walk along the cold cases. Hot food is played by a staff member.
I have been to IKEA many times in different states and countries and it was the first time I ate at one of its restaurants and the experience was amazing. Delicious comfort healthy food, with great and friendly service in a pristine clean cafeteria style dining. I went back two days after just to take my daughter to eat there. It is worthy.
Stopped by the IKEA restaurant and tried the meatball combo as well as the sandwich with mac & cheese combo. Both were okay but nothing special. Also had a coffee—pretty standard.
