The fish did not seem fresh. The surf clam, for example, had a fishy taste. The rolls were big, but the tuna was also fishy in taste. Very disappointing as I've been coming here for many years. Will not return.

We go here multiple times a year. It's my 9yo son's favorite place. Something was off on this last visit. Usually servers are very attentive. We felt like an afterthought. Our order wasn't large, just 4 rolls, a salad, and an order of calamari appetizer. It took a long time for food to come out. They were busy when we arrived but the crowd dispersed soon after. Our server was friendly, as always, but it just took so long for our rolls to come out. When they did, it looked like they'd been sitting for a while. The sauce on top of the spider roll was absorbed into the rice and it looked dull and unappetizing. The spider roll didn't have the fried crab arms coming out of it, which is why my son orders it. So that was disappointing. The flavor on the imitation crab was weird. Didn't taste like it had gone bad, it just didn't taste good. And I don't like that more and more rolls have salad greens as a filler. The unagi roll was tightly rolled and small, not like the usual look. And the server just didn't include the California roll. So we only got 3 of the 4 rolls we ordered. We were not charged for the missing roll, so that's good. It just was disappointing. It was the first time for us having the calamari appetizer. We were pleasantly surprised at how fresh and tasty that was. It wasn't super crispy, but the breading tastes good and the squid inside was thick and juicy. Not rubbery. Highly recommend. We will go back because this is probably just a one off bad time.

This place is a gem! The place was hopping on Wednesday night which is always a good sign to me. Small bar but great spaced dining room and well appointed and spacious sushi bar. The rolls and sashimi were amazing, so fresh and the rolls were great sized. We tried a variety of items, 6 different rolls, sashimi, gyoza, edamame, hot sake and the green tea creme brulee and everything was delicious! 100% recommend! Our server was super sweet, we will be back!

First time visit has convinced us to be on the regulars list, our host “Grace” was exceptional she guided us through the menu selections with ease. Her recommendations for my mom was just about right. Land Of Sushi has something for everyone, must try eatery in Denver. They get 5 stars from me.

Don't let the strip mall location fool you, this is a wonderful sushi restaurant. The service was great. The food was better and the environment inside is very nice.

My husband and I tried their Omakase night recently and had a great time! Omakase is chefs choice- every bite was delicious! The flavors and presentation of every plate was thoughtfully executed. The drinks were also very good. We got full fast! Jessie and her team are attentive and on point! We’ll be back soon!
