Love dining here the atmosphere is just inviting and the music adds a special touch. Thanks to Nonna who I get to see every time we visit.

Atmosphere is lovely. Service is excellent. We ordered garlic cheese bread and while delicious with a side of red sauce it had three small slices of bread and a larger portion was expected. I had the lasagna which was delicious. Husband had the cacio e Pepe which he liked but I found very oily and the flavor muddy. Nonna herself visited our table and was very personable and sweet. Service was outstanding and everyone worked as a team. We'll be back!

Wonderful food and atmosphere. Always enjoy the live music! Every time I have eaten here, Nonna herself comes to check on every table. Pretty special!

We have had many great meals at Nonna's Italian Bistro. Last night did not disappoint as we brought two other couples who are staying with us.

Food generally good. Pasta served with Chicken Parm was overcooked and kind of like compressed together. Didn't seem real fresh. Antipasto platter was good. Service from the service staff was good but our main waiter was not personable and did not seem like he even wanted to be there.

Fantastic dining experience. The food is absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the ambience and the server was great. The only downside is the price. It is expensive if you get wine and dessert but will be coming here again for sure.

Good food, attentive service. Portions are less than generous. Piano player and singer were too loud, I liked them, but way too loud.

Suggest to have live music 1/3 quieter. Many elderly patrons are hard of hearing which makes conversation difficult when loudspeakers are turned up. Music choices are fine and food was really high quality. Worth the wait!

The food was just okay at best, nothing special. The service was not great either—our server seemed very indifferent and didn't seem to care whether we were satisfied or not. Unfortunately, the desserts were the worst we've ever had. The lemon coconut cake was old, stale, and not edible. The cheesecake was also very disappointing—tasted old and just not good. Overall, not an experience we'd return for.

Nonna's was an unforgettable evening that would be hard to top! I had to change my reservation last minute to a later time and the staff was so accommodating and pleasant in making that happen, check. They seated us at the most perfect table as we were there for the live music, check. Shall I start with the lemon drop martinis or the appetizer both came highly recommended by our server Mackenzie, or our personal guide to a fantastic experience. We noticed a couple celebrating 56 years of marriage and we decided to join their table to inquire on what was the secret to 56 years. Meanwhile, Nonna herself came over to introduce herself and congratulated this young couple, then to find out they knew some of the same people from the Chicago area and were huge Cubs fans. This added to the personal touch from the namesake of a such an establishment. As time went by, our guide Mackenzie came over to that table and took our order and had our salads waiting when we came back to our original table. Then the dinner spaghetti and meatballs and chicken parmigiana, chef's kiss! The live music on top of all this, check mate! Most definitely will make this a routine visit, especially since we got the personal invite to dance the night away up front next time, a must for any date night!

Little hidden gem! Loved this place. Atmosphere was quiet with soft music in the background. Service was top notch. My husband had the scallops with risotto. Said it was the best restaurant meal he's had in years. I had the Parmesan crusted chicken. We eat at a lot of Italian restaurants and the dish was unique and sooo good! We'll definitely be back.

Dinner was fine. The ambiance was decent, but the music was way too loud. What really killed it was how we saw the owner treated her staff. She was warm and welcoming to to us and the other the patrons, but it wasn’t extended to the staff. we were seated near the kitchen and heard everything — yelling, cursing, throwing things, slamming dishes. It was chaotic and uncomfortable.

Bad: Chicken was dry; pasta sauce was terrible, service was perfunctory. Food was mediocre, especially for the price. Good: The pizza was good; live saxophone player was nice. Nonna's was better years ago. Time to find a new Italian place.

We found Nonna's because it was close to our hotel and Italian food sounded good.

Oh. My. God. It was one of the best meals I've had in recent memory. James was our waiter; the service and atmosphere were very nice (live music!), but the Parmesan Crusted Chicken was out of this world! The bread pudding was amazing; not your normal, heavy, drenched in sauce bread pudding. This bread pudding was light, airy, with just a slight drizzle of caramel sauce, with whipped cream and strawberries on top.

I wish I lived closer, but my waistline is so happy we don't!
