Suggest to have live music 1/3 quieter. Many elderly patrons are hard of hearing which makes conversation difficult when loudspeakers are turned up. Music choices are fine and food was really high quality. Worth the wait!
The food was just okay at best, nothing special. The service was not great either—our server seemed very indifferent and didn't seem to care whether we were satisfied or not. Unfortunately, the desserts were the worst we've ever had. The lemon coconut cake was old, stale, and not edible. The cheesecake was also very disappointing—tasted old and just not good. Overall, not an experience we'd return for.
Nonna's was an unforgettable evening that would be hard to top! I had to change my reservation last minute to a later time and the staff was so accommodating and pleasant in making that happen, check. They seated us at the most perfect table as we were there for the live music, check. Shall I start with the lemon drop martinis or the appetizer both came highly recommended by our server Mackenzie, or our personal guide to a fantastic experience. We noticed a couple celebrating 56 years of marriage and we decided to join their table to inquire on what was the secret to 56 years. Meanwhile, Nonna herself came over to introduce herself and congratulated this young couple, then to find out they knew some of the same people from the Chicago area and were huge Cubs fans. This added to the personal touch from the namesake of a such an establishment. As time went by, our guide Mackenzie came over to that table and took our order and had our salads waiting when we came back to our original table. Then the dinner spaghetti and meatballs and chicken parmigiana, chef's kiss! The live music on top of all this, check mate! Most definitely will make this a routine visit, especially since we got the personal invite to dance the night away up front next time, a must for any date night!
Wonderful ambiance and live music. Great way to enjoy our delicious dinner together with friends.
Little hidden gem! Loved this place. Atmosphere was quiet with soft music in the background. Service was top notch. My husband had the scallops with risotto. Said it was the best restaurant meal he's had in years. I had the Parmesan crusted chicken. We eat at a lot of Italian restaurants and the dish was unique and sooo good! We'll definitely be back.
Dinner was fine. The ambiance was decent, but the music was way too loud. What really killed it was how we saw the owner treated her staff. She was warm and welcoming to to us and the other the patrons, but it wasn’t extended to the staff. we were seated near the kitchen and heard everything — yelling, cursing, throwing things, slamming dishes. It was chaotic and uncomfortable.

Bad: Chicken was dry; pasta sauce was terrible, service was perfunctory. Food was mediocre, especially for the price. Good: The pizza was good; live saxophone player was nice. Nonna's was better years ago. Time to find a new Italian place.
We found Nonna's because it was close to our hotel and Italian food sounded good.
Oh. My. God. It was one of the best meals I've had in recent memory. James was our waiter; the service and atmosphere were very nice (live music!), but the Parmesan Crusted Chicken was out of this world! The bread pudding was amazing; not your normal, heavy, drenched in sauce bread pudding. This bread pudding was light, airy, with just a slight drizzle of caramel sauce, with whipped cream and strawberries on top.
I wish I lived closer, but my waistline is so happy we don't!

We excited to celebrate our daughter's marriage to our new son in law Matt, and we came with 10 people, 5 children. We were informed the kitchen closed at 8:00, it was a Sunday, and we arrived around 6:30. The waitress was great, as always, however the drinks took a while to arrive. The appetizers were great, garlic knots and calamari, however we were disappointed in the entries. A couple of us had the Spaghettini and meatballs and the pasta was soft and over cooked. The meatball was ground nice but not very flavorful. The chicken parm was dry, the risotto runny and the scallops chewy. We love Nonna's but on this occasion it did not live up to expectations. Hopefully it was the case of the last order on a Sunday night and not indicadive of what the future holds. 5/10
Lovely place with enormous potential. Apps were solid (the Lil Devil and the Caprese) but our main courses were marginal at best. The cacio e pepe was runny and swimming in oil or butter with just a sprinkle of cheese. This is a simple dish to get right, so disappointing to say the least. The piccata was also watery and had minimal flavor. Both dishes came with low quality, thin chicken breasts - my husband's had been waved over a grill and mine was charred into ruin. Neither had any detectable seasoning. It's possible we just didn't pick their best dishes but I doubt we will return for a second try considering the prices.

Another great evening at Nonna's. Great wine selection. Mushroom caps appetizer was delicious. I had the papardelle bolognese which was perfect and a large enough portion to take some home. My girlfriend had the acorn squash stuffed ravioli which she really enjoyed. And the music was wonderful!
Let me start off by saying I have been to the Nonna's in Denver several times as well as this Nonna's several times, both personal and work. This is by far my favorite Italian restaurant in the city. The ambiance in both locations is great (not too loud, not too quiet). The wait staff is always on point and the food is DELICIOUS.
At this particular location they have live music and a great bar, the open kitchen looks great and all of this sets the mood for the restaurant.
My favorite just happens to be the spaghetti with meat sauce (add meatballs please) and you can tell this recipe comes from nothing but LOVE! The noodles are cooked perfectly the sauce is meaty and has so much taste to it. The meatballs are juicy and tender............. I WISH I COULD ORDER RIGHT NOW...YUM!
I have never had a less than stellar experience at either restaurant and would (I have several times) recommended this place to anyone who is looking for some great Italian cuisine and looking for a nice place to relax and have a great meal.
Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to try the deli side, I definitely will some time down the road.
Nonna and team... you are freakin awesome! I love your restaurant... you all do excellent work! I can't wait to come back!
We had the best Italian food tonight! Our first time to Nonna's Italian bistro, and I wish I would've come sooner. We started with the little devils (sausage, peppers, cheese, and marinara to dip in.) then we both had the Cioppino, and creme brulee for dessert. Truly, I think this was one of the best Italian dinners I've ever had. The marinara sauce was on point! Plus, our waitress Ashley was amazing! Ask for her when you go in 😉. The owner was super nice and accommodating

Came in with a larger party, and was blessed with the best waitress I’ve had in 20 years at this restaurant, Ashley. She managed the large party better than any other waitress I’ve ever experienced! Urgency, speed, comfortability, and genuine care are the words to describe how the drinks, meal, dessert execution from order placed to to the table.
Ashley, you are the bomb! New spot for large parties if I can get Ashley!
