QDOBA Mexican Eats

I usually order lunch from QDOBA through Uber Eats because of my work schedule, but today I had extra time and decided to visit the location in person. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant.

I ordered a bowl with a crispy shell and asked the employee preparing my food if I could have my queso on the side in a larger container, as it makes it easier for me to dip my chips. She kindly agreed without hesitation. However, when I got to the payment counter, what seemed to be either the manager or a trainer started publicly correcting the employee for accommodating my request.

I tried to explain that I was the one who asked for the change and that I always receive it this way when ordering online. Instead of listening, this person proceeded to raise their voice at me, dismissing my explanation and rudely stating that " I don’t care how other stores do it. Im just telling you what the deal is here"

I was shocked and offended by the way I was treated—not only as a customer but also by how they embarrassed their employee in front of a line of about six other customers. Correcting staff should be done in private, not in front of customers. The entire situation made me feel extremely uncomfortable and reconsider buying food from this location in the future.

QDOBA should seriously consider providing proper customer service training for this manager. No one should be treated this way, whether they are a paying customer or an employee simply trying to do their job.

Would I return? I’m not so sure.

Overpriced food compared to the ridiculous small portions, very stingy.
Some workers looked/smelled high off their ass, usually I don't care but at work? To the point some of them reek of the smell

Ordered through Uber Eats - 2 almost identical build your own salads - both showed up 1/2 built - no cheese, no sour cream, no salsa and one missing guacamole - basically got a shell, lettuce and chicken. Called store and was told oops must have been one of the new guys, basically tough luck unless I wanted to leave work and drive over to pick up missing ingredients - Horrible 2nd bad experience in 10 days - done

When have we become chipotle. I am now being told guacamole and queso are both extra on entrees when I come into order 2 bowls with cater cards

Food was typical Qdoba. I was very surprised to see that a small scoop of guacamole was almost 3 dollars. The reason for the 2 on atmosphere was due to a man coming into the restaurant digging through the garbage in the restaurant and then using that cup to get a soft drink. This location is not one I would bring my family due to the high homeless population in the area.
