Born and raised in the south and this was pretty good. The smoked chicken was a standout, the fried okra was surprisingly notable, and the brisket and pulled pork were good enough. Now, would slap 4 stars on the place, but they don’t have ONIONS. Absolutely bizarre, yall should absolutely have some sliced onions in the back, bbq not complete without onions.

Edit: always love a business reply, and I’d definitely have been thrilled if they chopped me up some onions. The (extremely nice) guy upfront seemed to think there weren’t onions in any capacity which I think lends to my incredulity, but I’m happy to revise to 4 stats because a Google reviews response always moves the needle a smidge.

Ohh, my god I have never tasted more dry and tough brisket in my life.Horrible experience. The spicy pork links were okay, but not very spicy. But I have to go back to the brisket. It was horrible.I've had better brisket at arby's o my god, they call themselves a barbecue place nasty.I'll never be back. And you should never go

Found this place by accident when we were on the other side of town from us. We have since made the drive back to take a friend.
Great food and super friendly service. The brisket was our favorite. Our friend had the Mac and cheese. I am not a big Mac and cheese fan, but I tried hers and it was so good!
Food was consistent in our visits. We will make a point to go again.

The food is great but they keep removing some of the better dishes off the menu. ie: the meatloaf

I grew up in the KC area so I'm used to good BBQ. I think Rolling Smoke BBQ rivals any BBQ that I've had in KC. Definitely 2 thumbs up! 👍👍

We were in town for my parents’ birthday party, and Rolling Smoke BBQ catered our event. The food was amazing. Brett handled all the details and made the booking process really easy. He was great to work with, super responsive, and everything went smoothly. We received a ton of compliments from our guests and would definitely recommend Rolling Smoke BBQ for any event.

Rolling Smoke Centennial was amazing!. They catered a surprise birthday party for us on 12/27/25 and this was the easiest part of the whole process. From start to finish, inquiry to delivery of the food, everything was so smooth. Food was delish and everything was delivered as requested. I would absolutely choose Rolling Smoke again and recommend to others.

Rolling Smoke has served up some deliciousness but even better, happiness. As the Lifestyle Assistant, working with Brett on special event needs and orders has been SMOOTH sailing. Yet to miss a beat, timely and accurate on all of our requests and needs. They truly go above and beyond. The brisket and pulled pork are our residents favorites!!! Thank you to Rolling Smoke and Brett for making our food events spectacular. We also plan to book their food truck this summer for one of our summer concerts!! Stay tuned but not a bit concerned, pleasing our crowd, like any large crowd, can be a challenge but yet to get any complaints!!!

I came in with my husband for dinner for the first time and it was amazing. The brisket was tender, ribs were perfectly smoky, mac and cheese was really good, and the hot links had the perfect kick. Great BBQ!!

Edit: 4 years later... Same thing. Dry, overcooked Mac noodles with no flavor, corn bread bricks, and they put the dry and burnt in burnt ends. My wife insisted we ask for a refund, and when we did they offered to remake the plate. So we got the same thing, just hotter. They put butter on the corn bread, put it under the heat lamp. No help to the bread.
We had the buffalo wings. They use the wings with the extra additives, that make the wings huge but rubbery, and the buffalo is Franks, and butter.
The sweet tea, and lemonade are a solid 8/10 tho, and the music was on point.

See all these great reviews, wish I had a similar experience. Got the 2 meat plate. Brisket; dry, burnt ends; may as well bit into a llava rock, Mac n cheese; over seasoned, under cheese-d, corn bread; brick disappointed for sure. First time here, may come back later to see if they match the hype, but I doubt it.

The pulled pork was moist and not overcooked, and they served it on a buttered toasted bun. It was delicious as well as their two sauces. I will definitely be going back
