As a wedding planner, this bakery is one of my absolute favorites to refer. They do an incredible job with desserts of all types and do a great job with food restrictions as well! 10 out of 10.

I ordered a custom cake for my husband's birthday party and it was a big hit--it was beautifully decorated and, most importantly, delicious! Everything from ordering, confirming details, getting a quote, invoicing, and delivery was seamless and well communicated; thank you for helping make our party a success!

First of all, I do want to be appreciative that they were able to make my cake in such short notice but then I realized that Wal-Mart could too… I paid around $183 and the cake I had ordered was both worth that. I have ordered a two tier cake that was almost $300 from someone else, very well made, yet I wonder how much that cake would’ve cost me here. Upon the pick up, there were a few things wrong with the cake. They had to make changes and whatnot making her wait longer, please take into consideration that she had to go to work soon. If I had not told my sister what the cake should have looked like, we would’ve had an even more disappointing cake on our hands. The flavor was meh. Wal-marts marble cake is 100% WAAAY BETTER than this place. A very bland, awfully baked cake at a high price. I’d definitely recommend going somewhere else. Maybe it was rushed? I’m not sure but I will never be ordering and will steer any of my friends and family away from this place. I really wanted to like it since they had such raving reviews but unfortunately it wasn’t the case for us. The butter cream frosting was actually really good but everything else was horrible. We’re going to Walmart or Target next time for our cake.
One last thing, they have a bunch of rewards hung up everywhere but then we got our cake and was like… “What? This has got to be joke. Come on now, where’s our cake? This cake can’t possibly be it…”

We got a birthday cake for about $280, it was simple but pretty. The sponge was pretty dry, it needed more cream or soak. And the cream cheese frosting had a sort of licorice aftertaste which was odd and unfortunately not well recieved by our guests.

We got our wedding cake from the Makery- they were the included cake vendor at our venue (The Pines by Wedgewood). They delivered a beautiful and delicious cake as well as 12 gf/vegan chocolate cupcakes. Overall, I would recommend them. However, we had some frustrations communicating with them, which is why we didn't give 5 stars. We did our cake tasting months in advance of the wedding and picked everything out. When the Makery reached out shortly before the wedding to confirm details, they had a LOT of things wrong. They also often took a while to respond, often requiring me to send a follow-up email before I got a response. This made correcting all their errors more time consuming and difficult than it should have been. This was even in the days leading up to the wedding, which was stressful for us.
10/10 every time! We cannot recommend this bakery enough! They were absolutely amazing with our wedding cake and cupcakes — the entire process was seamless and stress-free, and everyone raved about how delicious everything was. We even forgot to arrange our anniversary cake, and they were so accommodating and understanding, which meant so much to us. We love popping in from time to time for their cupcakes — they’re always the best!

All we wanted was a small cake cutting cake for our wedding in May 2025 & we got exactly what we wanted! I believe the owner helped us, but she was super sweet & it turned out exactly as I imagined it. She even offered a package where we get another one for our anniversary next year so we didn't have to worry about saving it in the freezer! Also just very yummy!
Their cake sampler was awesome and helped us decide what we wanted!
I received this cake as a birthday gift and had high hopes. Every year, I look forward to a Spring Fling cake, and ever since The Market in Denver closed, I’ve been searching for the perfect replacement. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark—especially at a steep $290 for a 10-inch cake.
What I love most about Spring Fling is the moist, flavorful zucchini cake. Instead, this was a basic vanilla sponge that was overly sweet and didn’t balance well with the cream cheese frosting. The frosting itself lacked structure and was a bit runny, which affected both the texture and the overall experience.
While the cake was beautiful to look at, the taste didn’t live up to the presentation. Sadly, it was a letdown.
EDIT: I do feel like the 1 star review is justified because the person who ordered it called the bakery and asked for your recommendation. The baker recommended a vanilla sponge cake—additionally there is no zucchini lime option on your website. Especially if you quote cake inspired by The Markets on your website, it seems deceiving to call it a Spring Fling cake. For the price and taste of the cake I’m disappointed. I send you an email with my information for further consideration
The Makery did a fantastic job with the gluten free/vegan cake they made for my daughter's graduation party this weekend! I could not have been more pleased! It was both beautiful and delicious. My guests were raving about it, exclaiming that they could not believe it was gluten and dairy free. I know it was, because my daughter, I, and our co-hosts are very sensitive to gluten and dairy. We all ate it, enjoyed it, and did not get sick. Also -- ready on time, as promised, correct spelling, no hassles! Big thanks to The Makery for making my daughter's graduation so special! You should go to their shop and see what the can do with cake and frosting. It's pretty amazing!
Debated on even writing a review but honestly, pretty disappointed in the birthday cake for my son. I’m pretty easy to please but the cake tasted horrible. It looked just fine and the icing puffs looked to die for but the icing literally tasted like butter. I even got some icing on my hands and it felt like lard or butter and so greasy I had to use Dawn soap several times. The actual cake was just Blegh. To be honest, we ended up buying a sheet cake from King Soopers which tasted 100x better and cost way less. Just bummed about the cake that was supposed to be special for my kid’s birthday party.
This place was super flexible! They baked us cupcakes that we used for our own gender reveal and they were awesome! Super nice and sweet of them to help us with this!
