No longer have fried chicken. The Specialty Pizza was two meats (small amount), onions, mushrooms, and olives and was sort of bland. Street tacos were just average. Wouldn't let us mix chicken and pork tacos (4 to a platter) for some reason. Overall, was not pleased.

Very cute, small, family-friendly food spot. The menus are on two separate walls, so I didn't realize they had a good breakfast menu until I realized they had a second spot for their menus on the wall to the left after walking in. I ended up getting the breakfast burrito and one of their cinnamon pastries. Both were delicious, the burrito is a decent size but I like to eat so in the end I wished I got myself two burritos ?. It might need a little salt and hot sauce, but both items are located on the tables if you dine in. The cinnamon pastry reminded me of a palmier, but I think they called it a cinnamon crispy (I could be wrong on their name). Other than that, they seem to be a small (maybe family owned) business. So the hostess was helping out in the back and it took some time before she came back to the front and took our order. The food came out in a very reasonable amount of time, we ordered some water for breakfast and I think that took the longest to get to the table. Overall, if you're looking for a bite to eat while passing through or staying for a weekend and this place is open I definitely recommend stopping by for a bite to eat. I'll have to try something not on the breakfast menu the next time I pass through to visit family.

This restaurant owned and operated by Lori, hasnt had a health inspector over 5 years! Terrible food and service. The soda dispenser has mold on/in it, caught it 3 times with 3 different drinks. Didn't end up drinking any of it, thank goodness. Taste like the grease never gets changed. Very limited food items, it's always burgers and burritos. Daily specials are eh. The food is always cold. Any of the meat always taste heavily salted. I just can't stand it anymore. I don't how folks are lying to themselves saying it's good food. It's not. Anytime I attempt to eat there, a staff member is always talking to me while I'm trying to enjoy my food. Gets annoying fast. I don't like this restaurant anymore. There's going to be a new owner, but I doubt much will change. I rather eat dirt then attempt to try another meal here. Save yourself and just wait till you Kansas, burlington, Lamar, Limon, shoot even Eads.
The best food around and very affordable.
Stopped there on our way to Colorado. The fried chicken was spot on. Delicious. Never had white gravy on mashed potatoes before, but now I'm a big fan. We sat outside since we had our little dog along. Had some interesting conversations with some local residents, 5 and 7 year old boys enjoying a malt.

This was definitely a hidden gem!!! Great fried chicken and cinnamon roll!! Anna, the owner was a delight!
The best food around and very affordable.
Good for lunch. Burger was great.
Great cheeseburger and fries. Fried chicken was excellent.
Small down home cafe that has more seating than it appears. the special today was chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, with a biscuit. All for $13.00.The food was excellent. the chicken fried steak had a very flavorful coating. Potatoes and biscuits are home made, and delicious. It's a shame, there's a sign on the bulletin board that it is for sale, but they keep it going as usual until it is sold. Better come in soon.
