I have been coming to Dos Hombres for as long as I can remember. I had high hopes for the new menu but left very disappointed. I adored the affordability of the previous menu and was blown away by the new prices. My go to used be a bowl of the white chicken chili which came with a side of tortilla, fry bread, sopapilla, or side salad for $8.50. I was shocked to see that a bowl of soup is now $17.50 with no side just garnishes. I decided to try the pazole Verde anyway despite the high price, but was informed by my server that they were out. I opted to get a tostada with chicken instead and was surprised on how small it was.
On the brightside, my server was wonderful, answered all of my questions, and listened to my feedback about the new menu.

I so wanted to write a great review of the new menu. I used to love dos before the new menu! This was the last time I will go back. I love when things change for the better… this was not better at all. We came in and the greeting was nice, we sat down and started looking at the menu. For us the salsa came out and again we were told that this is a new recipe. I got excited to try the new stuff. I was surprised and disappointed in the lack of flavor as it tastes like a bunch of cloves! We were very excited to see the chicharrons and ordered those. Hopeful they were good, nope they were stale and hard as a rock. I took them home for chew sticks for the dogs. I ordered the sampler plate for one. The chicken was so dry I had to ask for sauce. The only good part of the meal was the carne Asada so there is the star for that. The service was subpar at best. I believe the owner was serving the dishes and refilled my water. Our waitress took 30 mins after we received our food to check on us. The two young male busboys were running around and acting unprofessional. This has gone down hill for sure. I am so sad! I was looking forward to an improvement and a new place to go as a family but I’ll keep my hopes up for somewhere else.

Don't know that I'll be back. It was decent but the food lacked love. The salsa was way too chunky without much flavor other than tomato and the chips were cold! Please send warm chips next time! Stacked enchiladas needed way more loving smothering. Shredded beef (that was rather dry) should not come in unshredded chunks that do not resemble beef at all. Service was perfect and the ambiance was nice. Black beans were good and flavorful. Sadly just not anything to write home about. Wish I could comment about the Chile Verde. I think they're trying too hard with 5 dift chili options.

My family and I placed an order online and in the past we’ve had issues getting our full order delivered to us. This time we ordered, Ana (one of the workers) was so accommodating and helpful in making sure our order was all correct and delivered to us correctly! As someone trying to feed my family, I greatly appreciate Ana’s efforts toward order accuracy! We will be ordering from here again!
