First time here and I was excited to see Octopus on the menu! I ordered the Pulpo Al Mojo De Ajo
Octopus & mushrooms sautéed in garlic & butter and I was assuming it was going to be a whole octopus as pictured on their menu for the grilled version. The octopus items did lack descriptions (diced, whole, etc) so I made that assumption.
I did enjoy the dish but I would prefer to have more octopus and maybe in larger sizes too. Now I know not to order this dish and will probably get the grilled version.

This place has been somewhere i have enjoyed for over 30 years. I tend to leap all over the menu, but my go-to has always been the chicken tenders con queso (dip). The tenders are the same as previous visits, but that new watered-down, salty sludge that they call queso should be in the trash. I will probably try something different on the menu sometime in the future, but adios to my Dos Favorite. Sad day.

I've been eating at this place for decades..mostly the one that was on the Redlands before it closed. Last night, my wife and I went for food and we won't be going back. The menu is pure chaos..the food quality is what I'd expect from a fast food joint. Then there was the service. They weren't that busy and had 4 people trying to all handle 5 tables...at the same time. Our food came out missing parts..we had to ask for silverware and when we were done..one of the waitresses who took our plates actually chastised us for leaving food on the plate...not once, not twice but three times. I will never be going back and honestly, I'm sad as this place was somewhere my family ate at a lot when I was young. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

It did look clean, and had a light floral fragrance, but since my visits past the menu has changed, and not for the better. I thought it would be a nice place to go out with the family but the food was not good. I MISS THE OLD DOS HOMBRES

New owners. They changed the salsa. Not bad just a bit to much cilantro. Everything else seemed to basicly be the same.

Waitress bad didn't get order correct
Went there tonight 8/16/2025 Our waitress Pricilla was very rude. First, she brought us our water. And then she asked if we wanted any other drinks. We said no. When she came back a few minutes later. She took our order. When she got to my father in law he ordered a margarita. She stops him mid order and goes “ So you did want other drinks”. “ this is what I meant when I asked if you wanted any other drinks”. She then scuffs and was like well now I have to go put that order in and just walked away and didn’t allow us to continue ordering. Second, my 11 year old started off ordering and asked for a chicken burrito bowl. She goes “ We don’t do that”. DIDN’T YOU READ THE MENU. At that point I was like um excuse me. Can you stop talking to us like we are stupid. Her attitude changed a bit. Then she goes ya we got new owners and they took it off the menu. I can’t even put it in the computer. Then she was like and I know our cooks. They wouldn’t even be able to make that. ( um Mexican food is pretty much the same thing but in different form lol) all they had to do was make a burrito with no tortilla. Then she came and filled our waters. And needed to refill her pitcher. She got all mad and sighed all loud and was like “ well I guess I have to come back”. She was very rude. Talked down to my 11 year old. And was all snappy to my father in law. Talked down on the new owners of the restaurant and totally threw her cooks under the table.
We stopped by on our way home. We had Chicken Fajitas and the Tortilla Soup. Both were excellent. The staff was very friendly and restaurant even have a military & senior discount.

This place is great the people their were awsome great service great menu sometimes a business like this needs a change along with past employee that at times we're disrespectful and had no customer service what so ever ,they did what they wanted never wanted to work efficiently, and now upset because a new business owner wanted a change at a business stand point. I will definitely direct more people their way, thanks for the service.
