What an incredible experience. The wines, the conversation, the owners, the food, the scenery. It was maybe the best experience we have ever had a vineyard. I want to keep this a secret but the owners deserve the publicity.
Colorado wines were a fad years ago, but that is has definitely changed! The climate on the western slope is ideal for growing wine grapes. Colorado vineyards have learned the trade and are now producing awesome wines. TWP winery is producing excellent wines and provides an amazing wine tasting experience. Best charcuterie board and wine pairing I've ever had. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Most of their tastings come with charcuterie board so you can try the wines with different flavors. They did an excellent job explaining both the wine and food. I enjoyed both the reds and whites (rare for me) so you'll find something for everyone, regardless of their wine preference.
