We had a great experience at Vega Lodge the first few days of June in our fifth wheel. Check-in was easy, the views were spectacular, the Lodge was cozy, and they have lots of little extras; horseshoes, roping dummy, volleyball net, lawn games, football, and playground. We got to chat with Luke (owner/manager) several times, he’s a very likable guy and he obviously works very hard to maintain the lodge. Our one disappointment was the food, we attended a wedding on site and the lodge provided a taco bar. It wasn’t awful food, but it was nothing memorable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would support Luke again!

I have not had that enjoyment of staying up at the lodge but we go up once a month to hang out at the lake, walk around get some exercise and then we go to the lodge and order some of their yummy food and have a couple of drinks what a great way to spend a Saturday. The staff is super nice I can't wait for our next visit

We stayed here over Mother’s Day weekend in the RV park. The views of the lake are spectacular. We loved being able to zip down to the lodge for anything we needed. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had a lovely time and will be back.

Stayed in the cabins for new years. Had a fantastic prime rib dinner and a great time! Luke and his family go above and beyond to make sure your stay is awesome!. This morning we had a great breakfast and one of the best bloody Mary’s I’ve ever had! Thank you guys for the great time!

I messaged this business to confirm all cabins have a personal use fire pit, I was assured they do.. Nope, majority of cabins do not have your own pit. I could have made accommodations for this, ie bring a solo stove. I'm more upset over the blatant lie than anything else. I will continue my use of the state parks cabins. Bummer

We stayed at the Vega Lodge for about a week for a hunting trip. The new owners, Luke, his wife and family were absolutely amazing! They really make everyone feel right at home and like they’re family. The food was great, as was the atmosphere. It’s a great rugged, off the map experience but also came with WiFi for those who can’t be COMPLETELY disconnected. Amazingly views and experience! Can’t wait to go back, highly recommended!!

The lodge is under new ownership and these owners have brought a new level of excitement with them. We did not stay in a cabin, but did stop for lunch after a day on the lake. Their menu is small but what they do serve, they do well. The young ladies waiting tables are pleasant and efficient. Having a place like this to get a meal or some last minute supplies makes this beautiful location even better. I would highly recommend stopping by, having some lunch out of the heat, and checking out what they offer.
