Bison Grill-Buffalo Run Golf Course

On a whim, my friends and I decided to go out for brunch. This spot came up on Google Maps, and one of the reviews mentioned it was great for brunch, so we headed over. We arrived a bit too late for their Sunday brunch menu, but it turned out to be a happy accident.

The restaurant had a calm, laid-back atmosphere—really chill vibes. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Although the menu didn’t clearly label allergens, the team went above and beyond to make sure I could eat safely. I really wanted a burrito, but I couldn’t have the green chile or the tortilla. They kindly created a deconstructed burrito bowl that worked perfectly for my dietary needs. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and I truly appreciated the care they took.

Our server, Lauren, was amazing—attentive, kind, and just all-around great. My friends ordered the burger and a side salad and raved about how delicious everything was.

This place is definitely our new favorite close-by hangout. Thank you for the excellent service and welcoming vibe. We’ll absolutely be back!

We rolled the dice on our last meal before flying back to the UK and this place didn't disappoint! Great setting in the middle of the course and the food was superb, especially the green chilli!

An annual pilgrimage from Asheville, NC to Colorado is always atop the highlights of my summer. This year was no different. While visiting friends this past weekend, we went to a spot I had never been before. My friends kept raving about recent improvements at Bison Grill at Buffalo Run Golf Course. I didn’t know any better, so I went along for the ride. Dang!, am I glad we did. The food had the western twist that I don’t get back home, and it was all fantastic. We ordered like kings and ordered way more than we knew we could eat, but all being in the restaurant world, we wanted to try as much as we could. The food was unique and flavorful, but nothing pretentious. Staff was super friendly and welcoming and gave us pointers as to where to go on our visit. If you know Colorado, you know it’s not cheap. I wouldn’t call this place cheap, but prices are SUPER fair and very inclusive of all budgets. We bounced around the cocktail menu based on bartender recommendations, and they were all spot on. Bottom line, in years and years of making this trip, I had never been here before. But after a couple of visits on this trip for us out west, I can assure you we will be back when we’re fortunate enough to breathe the Colorado air again. Thanks Bison Grill…job well done. Thanks for the eats, the drinks, the laughter, and all of the great memories. We’ll see ya soon, but not soon enough.

Great food in a quiet environment. I like the steak and fries. The smothered beef burrito is also a great go-to for me. Usually, I walk right in and get a table. Call ahead ordering is also quick and easy. Also, breakfast here is great!

The catering business is BEYOND a five-star review in ALL categories! This weekend, (April 5th/6th, 2025) buffalo run was catering a dog show on Adams County Fairgrounds, and the first sense of present I got from the lady behind the food trays was very welcoming, and the food was all obviously home-made, and it was GOOD!!! Even more so, the lady was so great in service that I literally felt like I was in a high-end best-of-the-best restaurant. The lady displayed the food FLAWLESSLY, and when I had finished a plate of food, before I could even get up to throw it away, she came and grabbed it for me! I would recommend this catering business for ANY event due to the superior welcoming and service to all other catering businesses out there!

I can’t believe I’ve never left a review for this hidden gem before! While Buffalo Run Golf Course gets most of the attention, its restaurant is truly a standout. Despite the parking lot always being full, I’ve never had trouble finding a seat. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, making every visit a great experience.

The beer is always ice-cold, and I have to say—this place serves the coldest Coors Light in town! Whether we drive or bike over, it’s always worth the trip. Their Sunday brunch is fantastic, so be sure to check it out. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this amazing spot right in our backyard!

I ordered a hamburger it was totally burnt. And when I mentioned it there was no reaction. I came home and ate lunch.

We went to the driving range twice and stopped at Bison Grill each time. While the servers were nice, it was incredibly slow despite being one of maybe two or three other tables. It took 20min just to get our drinks each visit. Food was good but they also took a long time to the point we just took it to go.
