The Apple Barrel here is severely understaffed, the manager has been made aware of the horrible service due to the severe understaffing. It took 25 minutes for my appetizer to come out. This morning it took 45 minutes for my order to reach my table, and the order was wrong. It wasn’t busy, there is no reason to have a single cook and a single server on duty who also has to take care of every single table and also bus the tables and do the dishes while still expected to give good service. The Manager at this establishment clearly doesn’t care about the customer or staff. I’ve been on the road for 13 years now, and this is the WORST Apple Barrel I have ever had the misfortune of doing a 34 hour reset at. Again, the food is decent, the prices are not horrible. The Servers are doing their best. But when upper management literally does not care, the Customers can tell.

Had the biscuits and gravy with eggs, hash browns with a side of sausage, everything was really good and the price was very reasonable compared to other truck stops on the road. The place has done a great job on the remodel, my place to stop when in the area.

Service here was great. Filled up my Sprinter van with Def and affordable diesel. Spinning lugs and killing bugs back down the road.

Made a stop here to change tires on the trailer. While waiting, we decided to have some breakfast place was clean. The food was really good. We had eggs omelettes with seasoned potatoes and a biscuit and home fries and a biscuit. We had to wait for the food. She is the only waitress there so have a little patience. I’m not taking any point of waiting. The bathrooms are extremely clean.

Truck stop restaurant that meets or exceeds expectations. The menu is pretty much what you'd expect,but done very well. The blueberry pancakes were loaded with fresh berries and delicious. the scrambled eggs and hashbrowns were also good.

Service was fast and friendly. The space itself has a lot of room and is very clean. It's decorated with Broncos memorabilia and photos.

There is no problem parking.

I have never been treated so rudely. The server not only acted like she didn't want me there, she acted like she wanted me dead. This pit will never get another penny from me.

This place is great!! The server is wonderful and the food was really good! I got a big plate of biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs and hash browns and it was $12. Highly recommend 👌

Great experience, great food. We came in with a large group, but the server was able to keep up with all of us, and everyone was impressed with the food. Would certainly recommend.

I'm a retired cook from S.Dak. transplanted in Colorado. Stopped in at about 3p.m. on Easter Sunday and it was also our 38th Annive thanks for a great meal!

Definitely a trucker restaurant with good food. Whether you're trucking or a family on a trip, this place is a great place to stop, eat, then walk across the hall into the gas station. Very convenient and clean.
