Used to go here pretty often when they first opened up, but then got a bad piece of fish and took a hiatus. Looked at the menu online today and called to order two rolls. When she told the total it was 50% more than the listed prices online. I told her that’s ridiculous and they should update it, but proceeded to place my order. Got home and one of the rolls that contains mango has such under ripe fruit I literally can’t bite through it. When I called and told them that the mango is inedible they told me “that’s just how we do it”. This isn’t the first time I’ve had this roll offering here, and it certainly isn’t the first time I’ve had mango in sushi. This is absolutely not how it should be served, and their lack of accountability is insane. They offered no reimbursement, refund, or compensation. I’ll be throwing this roll in the trash and back charging on my Amex. Pitiful how the few restaurants up here treat their customers.

Amazing sushi in Conifer! We love going here. It’s got a very nice atmosphere. The staff are friendly and the sushi is great! We particularly like the crazy roll, the spicy tuna crunch, and the Oyama roll.

I have to admit I absolutely used to love this place... However I had some kind of reaction to one of their chicken ramen bowls, it literally made me wonder if they poisoned me as to I was considering checking into the ER for a while there. I really don't want to have to worry about such a reaction again my guts are still messed up from it ...

Fresh sushi in the mountains?! Shocking. Very good small shop in Conifer, definitely worth stopping here on your way to the slopes!

This is a go to for our family. The food is excellent, consistent, and the service very nice. No, it is not overpriced like some reviews claim — It’s fantastic Japanese food and sushi in the mountains, get over yourselves, and you’ll pay more down the hill near Denver. We never thought moving here that we’d have great Japanese in the mountains, but we DO - thank you Oyama! Fav dishes: ramen, fried rice, katsu, sushi.

Smaller place, really quaint and cute but the food is soooo good! Fish is fresh and such good quality, We've had both sashimi and rolls. Everything was delicious and the sashimi cuts are a nice size and on point, I recommend the Toro if it's available.

This is a very good Japanese restaurant offering a large selection of options and it also has good lunch menu that is actually offered on the weekends too. You have the opportunity to stop by and try this place out. I think you'll be pleased.
