I had a great experience at Beny's. I try to eat at local cafes when I'm out and about. You never know what you are going to get. Beny's exceeded expectations. Denise, my server was friendly and smiling. As I sat and observed, the servers not only greeted the locals by name but asked about their families. The food came out fast, hot and yummy. I highly recommend if you're driving thru Cortez and you need some lunch or breakfast to give Beny's a try. Ask for Denise to be your server. You will not be disappointed. Just a side note, their patio is not currently open.

Food was absolutely amazing. Me and my girlfriend, what are the breakfast burrito and it was the best! I ordered the breakfast Churizzo & Machaca burrito.
Me and the hubby were passing through and needed something quick. They delivered. simple yet delicious. Exactly what a diner should be. Hubby had the eggs Benedict, I had meat lovers omelet.

This place was so freaking good!! Whoever is in the kitchen puts a lot of love into the food. This is the most authentic Mexican food we’ve had in a long time, & we’re from TX so that says a lot! It tastes just like the food my mother in law makes. Hubby had the huevos con enchiladas & I had the chorizo a la mexicana, the beans were even yummy. The pancakes were fluffy & perfect!! 10/10 recommend.
