Delicious food work lots of choice. Wife had the machaca scramble. Excellent mix of flavors with plenty of machaca mixed with the eggs. I had. The huevos con enchiladas. Traditional enchilada and eggs. Great enchilada sauce.

Very nice & very clean local restaurant, full menu especially breakfast, wonderful service and food was delicious and well prepared. If you're driving through Cortez this is a great place to stop for a good meal, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Food was great but service was terrible older waitress was very rude ask for coffee refill she only gave us half a cup…politely ask to refill more she got snappy she was alot nicer to other costumers maybe she doesn’t like natives will take my business else where but other than that was ok

We used to love this place. Food is fine, but I didn’t feel welcomed. I didn’t see anyone at the counter so I sat at an empty table as in the past I was told to sit anywhere. The first thing that happened is I was scolded for not waiting to be seated and I just wanted to leave. Then the server tells me it’s ok. Awful way to start my experience. Have gone here for years whenever in town. This was my last time.

I had a great experience at Beny's. I try to eat at local cafes when I'm out and about. You never know what you are going to get. Beny's exceeded expectations. Denise, my server was friendly and smiling. As I sat and observed, the servers not only greeted the locals by name but asked about their families. The food came out fast, hot and yummy. I highly recommend if you're driving thru Cortez and you need some lunch or breakfast to give Beny's a try. Ask for Denise to be your server. You will not be disappointed. Just a side note, their patio is not currently open.

Third restaurant in the area in 2 days. After 2 bad meals, we mistakenly thought how could a basis breakfast go so wrong. Afraid that coffee would be brown water, we went directly to eggs, bacon and pancakes. Oh, dear. Large scoop of some kind of lard oozed over the lifeless, tasteless pancakes. Found the bacon which could have easily gone undetected. Eggs okay. And, it all cost a near unbelievable price. We’ll cook at home next time. Never again.
