We were a little unsure when the parking lot appeared mostly empty, but we're so glad we ate here! The waitress was lovely. She was friendly, engaged with our kids, and clearly wanted to make our experience positive. The food and drinks were also good. I especially enjoyed my crunchy taco with a homemade shell. The bean dip with the chips and salsa was also quite tasty and unique. We'd definitely eat here again!

The only somewhat negative piece was being charged for our kids' juices when their kids meals said they came with a drink. We chose not to bring it up as my guess is their choice of juice wasn't included in the kids meal and our overall experience was positive, so we paid the additional amount. It would be helpful though if the kids menu listed the drink options that are included in the meal.

Great food! Tried the Mole enchiladas and it was very tasty! I would definitely order again and recommend you try!

Salsa is great, chips fresh. I think you would enjoy La Casita as we did.

Sincerely one of the most enjoyable experiences of our trip. Service was marvelous, food was incredible (still drooling), and the margaritas were stellar. Would recommend every time.

Excellent food and wonderful atmosphere! Recommend highly if you’re in the neighbourhood. Super sweet to dogs too!

Several options for Mexican food in Cortez. This is the best.

I think if they hadn't been so busy it would have been fine. There was only one server and we all got our food at different times, and things were forgotten about and no drink refills were offered. Our tortillas for the fajitas came out after the food had cooled and everyone else was done eating. I ordered the taco salad and I think there was more lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese on the kids taco plates. Our server was really nice and we liked him, but he was over worked!

This place it pretty cute, has great patio seating. When I went, they may have been understaffed, so we waited a bit for everything (We only ended up with 1 water each after being there a while) but they still managed to get us taken care of pretty well. The Guacamole was delicious, and fresh, and the margarita was fresh and strong. I had the Mole, and it was way too sweet. And the chicken was a little dry. The shredded beef was not very tender either. So not the best, but not the worst.

The food was incredible. We had a chili releno plate and the chicken mole, both of our go-tos the first time we eat at a new Mexican restaurant. We both felt they were up there with the best we have ever had.

Stopped here after visiting Mesa Verde NP. Excellent Tex-Mex food. Great margs. The flan is to die for. Just happened to have live music outside in their patio area when we were there. Only down side is that my seat was directly under the AC outlet and I had an arctic level blast of cold air shooting down my back. Server was friendly and attentive.

Food is from bad to regular. Beans are from the can, salsa is also bought. I ordered tacos of carne asada. The meat was burned, dried and refried. The tortillas are store bought. Not sure where the people that gave high reviews have eaten, but surely they don’t know anything about good, fresh delicious Mexican food. The service is alright, the place is nice. I would skip it.

We really enjoyed the food, drink I had a house margarita on the rocks it was very good and the staff were very friendly we sat in the patio so are dogs could be with us just wished they had music for the ambience. I had a 3 item combination plate 1 shredded beef enchilada, 1 cheese enchilada, 1 tamal with rice and beans. My wife had pozole she said it was very fresh and my daughter had a wet burrito I did not get her opinion as one dog was acting up so they went back to the car but is must of been good her plate was clean. All the food is great and fresh. Ample parking form on street to side and back lots.
