A+. Food was delicious. People were sweet. Music was good. Vibe was on point. Everything was fresh and homemade. This is the type of place you can’t help but frequent regularly if you live in the area. Bravo!
We sat at the bar, which is our custom, and were largely served by two young bartenders. The menu is written on a large chalk board suggesting that it changes periodically but there were a lot of items that would make it hard to rewrite. \n\nMy wife had a bowl of the white chicken chili and then shared some of my "deconstructed meatloaf" and mash. It was. ...different. Not bad, just different.\n\nUnlike some restaurants, I never felt completely comfortable in here. Perhaps...
The Mahi Mahi taco was so spicy I could barely eat one. There were only two. The menu is only written on a chalkboard so perhaps there were codes about spiciness that I couldn't read from our seat.
