This place should be criminal. They sent my pizzas off in someone else's car then it was returned and they tried to sell it to me!! There is no way this is okay in ANY venue. Then to get yelled at by the toothless worker was an added plus. I'm sure he wouldn't mind eating contaminated pizza, probably his dinner now
Oldest C Store in Cortez. Locally owned, great staff, good eats. Little tight on space and ⛽⛽ pumps.

The best pizza in town of Cortez!
Was fooled by the reveiws. Maybe it was because it was their closing time. Pizza was sub par wings were burnt. No longer served the salads or cheesy bread that is shown on their online appetizer menu. Beware!

Nice casual spot with pizza, tacos (on taco Tues), & burgers (tho on Taco Tuesday) & some other items. Beer, liquor also available at the bar. Pizza made to order was quite decent, esp. for a small town in the middle of very sparsely populated area. Another plus: open fairly late (til 9p on a weeknight) for a dining option in that part of the country--most spots close earlier. Very comfortable atmosphere. Super staff. Entirely pleasant all the way around. Don't get me wrong--I wouldn't give their pizza a 5 if it was in a metro. But it's not & the pie's decent. The overall experience is even better, so it gets a 5 from me.
We ate at Piccadilly on June 10, 2025, the evening before we climbed Culebra. We had read several positive reviews and our AirBnB hostess highly recommended the restaurant as well. We were not disappointed. The pizza was made fresh and was outstanding. They also made excellent wings which were baked rather than fried - our preference. The beer was cold and the service excellent. The young couple who own the place are friendly, attentive and committed to providing fresh, delicious food. We highly recommend the place and will return the next time we're in the area.
This place use to have the best tamales but now not so much ...

Cashier/associates who took our order was very kind, fast, and efficient. Pizza was great. Also got a generous amount of my Superman single scoop ice cream waffle cone!! Excellent service!
Best pizza in town, especially if you like a lot of toppings!
Best pizza in the state
I live in San Luis and come here all the time. Under new ownership recently, they've added to the food offerings by expanding their menu and serving breakfast, but it's also the local gathering spot for Bronco games and other celebrations. Folks are friendly and the place has a lot of charm. The bar was once a soda fountain and then a barber shop, which is evident by the back bar "booths" that were used by the different barbers, but now hold bottles and glassware. Definitely worth a stop if you're passing through. Great bowl of pork green chile or red bean chile along with burgers, pizza, wings, sub sandwiches, etc. Best menudo I've had. It's been given a nice facelift since these pics were taken.
Always good, specially breakfast pizzas in mornings.
