We stopped here driving back to Texas. The Verde chicken soup was delicious. The garlic butter mushroom alfredo with chicken was alright. The chicken was flavorless and seared hard. The dark-haired waitess wasn't friendly and failed to provide eye contact until it was time to pay and then her friendliness kicked in.

What a sweet little casual steakhouse in Cortez. Great food. Service was excellent. I had the ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. A great place to get good food and relax with friends.

The food was decent, though the $40 price tag for a steak felt a bit steep for what was served. My son's meal was inconsistently cooked. Unfortunately, our server didn’t check on us at all after the food arrived, and had to walk into the restaurant and find her to ask for a check. While it wasn’t a bad meal, I’d likely choose a different restaurant next time for a special night out.
