Service was a bit slow but the food was really good!
The wait to get our order took a while, over 20 minutes and it was pretty chilly inside. We got an appetizer of crispy potato skins and we got some delicious dinner rolls. For the main I ordered a classic cheese individual pizza and it was very delicious.
We were a bit hesitant after reading other reviews about long food wait times—especially since we were really hungry. But I’m so glad we decided to give this place a try! Every dish we ordered was packed with flavor and absolutely worth the wait. It's rare to find a pesto-based pizza done right, but theirs was outstanding. The Mesa Chicken was next-level delicious, and my son’s vegetarian pasta might have been the best we’ve ever had—the sauce, mushrooms, and pasta came together perfectly. We just wish this kind of fresh, farm-to-table but flavorful and delicious food was available closer to home in Boulder County!
I dont understand all the positive reviews. Although the drink selection was great and everyone was really nice, I don't know if its that they need more staff or just cut corners, but the pot pie was all frozen vegetables with hardly any chicken, our drink took 15 minutes, the house rolls (although appreciated) came after 20 minutes right before the entrees, and the soup came out after the main course. Seems way overpriced for the portions, quality, and care. There's many other great food options on main street.
We waited 20 minutes to get our order taken. They were out of what I wanted, (not a problem). I ordered something else with fries. 30 minutes later we received 3 sandwiches (only ordered 2), no fries, instead tortilla chips with no salsa or anything. Received the bill and they still charged for the 3 meals. Cute place but wouldn't go again or recommend.
Charming restaurant with beautiful, homemade food and a friendly, neighborhood vibe.
Had the Yak Burger. Very tasty and perfectly done. Order wine, but at 5;30pm, they were out of the Red Blend and the Pinot Noir. And it took a fair amount of time to get back to us with that information. Never the less, a very enjoyable meal.
Stopped here after a day at Mesa Verde NP. We had a large group and were seated quickly. Service was great and the food was wonderful. We had 5 kids with us and there were options for everyone (ages 3-13).
The Potato Skins and Baked Brie appetizers were fantastic! We also tried all of the desserts. The cheesecake and chocolate cake were favorites.
Highly recommend!!!
We waited 1 1/2 hours for our food. When it finally arrived:
My zucchini fritters were cold
Our salads were room temperature.
The Mesa chicken was burnt black on the bottom, served with cold steam broccoli.
My salad was swimming in oil and inedible.
The Yak Burger had a hard black bottom.
We did not bother to complain since we had been there so long, we didn't want to wait another hour and a half for them to correct the awful chefmanship.
Our waitress was kind and as attentive as she could be in an understaffed unorganized environment.
We didn’t bother complaining—we just wanted to leave. No staff checked on food quality or apologized for the delay. It was a frustrating, disappointing experience from start to finish.
Took nearly 2 hours to get our food, food was burnt and cold.

Absolutely the best food we have had while traveling through. I highly recommend stopping if you are looking for fresh and local cuisine. The yak steak and ceviche were my favorite!

Hosted a small wedding dinner (30) here and it was the perfect intimate setting! Thanks to Chef Gino and staff for providing great food and a great evening!
This place was amazing... honestly when I sat down and ordered steak fingers and french fries, I wasn't expecting much. I was thinking like Dairy Queen steak fingers... WRONG... wow! This country fried steak was pan fried, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. It lasted like it came out of my home kitchen! The only problem that I had was that they didn't have gravy on the menu... but then the chef prepared a classic country cream gravy for me as a kind gesture. It was perfectly prepared ?.
Chef... you should put that gravy on the menu!
