When in town, we have to eat at Maggie's. I love the atmosphere, the service is always excellent, and the food is fantastic. Good prices for the quality and quantity. We ordered takeout this time and it was very good and a smoothe, easy process. Highly recommend!

Stood at the front with another couple waiting for service, which never came. The place reeks of cigarettes and the restaurant is visibly dirty.

Showed up,had not seats but I could see empty tables. I put in a reservation to get a seat. I was told wait was 30 minutes didn't receive a call from them,up stairs bartendar went downstairs found out they have a seat. Went down to restaurant was seated then waited on in about 10 minutes. They didnt have the beer I was drinking up stairs, I adjed waitress to go up and get it from the bar upstairs. Asked about the sandwiches on the menu and they said it was best to order the pot roast it was the safest option. Receive the roast beef and it was just kind of like not roast beef if it was just like shredded beef covered with gravy and mashed potatoes with a few green beans. I would not recommend this place as a good place for dinner. The best place there is the bartender upstairs who is very good at her job and takes very good care of her customers!!

Poorly ran restaurant. Food was ok but the wait was ridiculous given there were more wait staff than customers! Told 30 minute wait. Closer to an hour.
Loved this place when I came to visit last year. I was so excited to come back and I am very disappointed to say that the food quality has gone down tremendously! What a shame.

Epic food and epic service!
We came up for the weekend. We had dinner and breakfast and were disappointed. Everything tasted like it was from a can, put on a plate and warmed up.

My experience at Maggie’s Restaurant in Cripple Creek was extremely frustrating from the moment I walked in. The employees were seated and talking and didn’t acknowledge me right away. My waiter, Jeff, continued chatting with coworkers instead of greeting me, then asked if I needed a menu while pointing to a stack by the door for me to grab myself.
He walked me into the empty restaurant without saying a word, so I had to ask if I should seat myself. After sitting down, I ordered a water with lemon, which took several minutes to arrive—and the lemon was missing.
I then ordered fried corn chips with house-made salsa. After another long wait, I was served bagged tortilla chips and jarred salsa. When I asked if the salsa was house-made as stated on the menu, I was told it comes from a large jug. The menu was clearly inaccurate, and the server had no explanation.
This all happened before I even received my main course. Between inattentive service and misleading menu descriptions, the experience was disappointing and unprofessional

Not a bad choice for a restaurant in Cripple Creek. Had to wait about 15 minutes for a table and they were out of Ribeye steaks but we still enjoyed our NY strip. Serve was quick too. They limit yourself drinks to one every 30 minutes too, but we weren't there to get intoxicated. Lots of history in the historic building, definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and looking for a moderately priced dinner spot.

Not only did we have the best food in town for the most affordable price, we also got to spend quality time with Jeff our amazing, caring server who is very knowledgeable about the history of the building. Some may say (like me) that you can feel something while you're there. You can call it energy, presence, spirits, but good vibes for sure. We can't wait to go back.

Waited to be seated by a grouchy lady. Then was never tended to by a waitress. Walked out before we got our water. We usually love this place. Very disappointed.
