The food quality is subpar, especially for the borderline insane prices. The staff are very welcoming and attentive, though!

I brought 5 children here after the ice castles. They were wet, cold, and hungry. The waitress was an older woman and amazing.Brought the kids menues out, got everyone hot chocolate. Was super patient with five kids ages ranging from 6 to 13.So grateful for the excellent service and patience.I wish I remember the waitresses name, but she told us about the ghost stories and a lot of cool stuff that the kids loved.

For an older place this one is nice. You feel like it’s an older restaurant. Our food was hot when it hit the table. The service was fast and waited was friendly. Keep in mind when you eat here it is an older building and the items inside (tables/chairs) are older too. I will eat here again.

Overall good food that was reasonably priced! Nothing bad to say but nothing to outright recommend. We enjoyed the ribs and the baked potato along with the Mac and cheese.

After the Ice Castles we decided to pop in for dinner, willing to wait a reasonable amount of time. We were told the wait was about 25-30 minutes and gave my phone number. After waiting 30 minutes we went to check status and no one was at the hostess station, okay, we'll check again, checked at 45 minutes and we still had 4 people ahead of us and still had a 25 minute wait since a server went on break. Having worked in a family restaurant for years, not acceptable. Either you can't judge wait time appropriately or it's just badly run but either way we left.

To be fair to this place, we never got sat so we can't tell you how the wait staff or food was. We walked in the door about 7:30 and they were pretty busy, after standing there for a couple of minutes the two people at the host stand who were working finally acknowledged us letting us know someone would be with us in a minute. After standing there for another 10 minutes another young lady had come to the host stand, not so much as acknowledging that we were there. We asked her if we could sit down while we waited to be helped. After a few more moments having a conversation with one of the first two people we had seen (however still not being asked for our name to be put on the wait) we left, and the host had the nerve to ask us what our name was so she could take us off the wait. After telling her that we had never been asked for a name to put on the wait, her response was simply "oh". And then we left.

Hostess did not greet us, instead she walked away from us. One server came by and said the wait was short. Hostess finally returned to add us to the list and told us it was 1.5 hour wait. We asked about one of the bar table and and server that showed up rudely told us it was not available, with a large attitude. We told the Hostess the wait was too long. Server said sorry again with the attitude. I commented I didn't think they were and his response was "we don't care". Very rude establishment.

We went for breakfast Saturday morning during the Ice Festival. We found the side door to be the entrance where you can go in when you have kid as they don't allow them to walk though the casino (understandably). Once we got down to the host stand where it said, "wait to be seated," it took incredibly long for someone to greet and sit us. We waiting because we knew there were no other options and all but one table was empty in the establishment. Once we sat the coffee and water came quickly and food not too long after. It was a decent breakfast and the server/hostess came around often. The inside tables, carpet and walls are pretty basic and bland but if you look closely, you'll see a lot of the old architecture and character of the old building itself.

It was pretty good food. My hamburger was a hamburger and nothing special. The ribeye was good also nothing special. Overall it was mediocre. Our service was amazing. The server was very attentive and was great. The atmosphere was a little drab and the lighting was off. Had a lamp in the corner where we sat that was a little blinding.
