Disappointing Experience at The Creek
I was really looking forward to trying The Creek in Cripple Creek, but unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. I ordered chicken wings. And for $16 I got five of them, which seemed pricey, and they were so overly salty that they were almost inedible. My husband got the pulled pork sandwich, but the meat was incredibly bland and lacked any flavor.
For the price, I was expecting much better quality and taste. The food was just not up to par, and I honestly can’t recommend eating here based on our experience. A big letdown.

Family owed and operated and wonderful, friendly staff. We were there on Thankgiving. Only thing on the menu was Thanksgiving dinner. It was a fantastic meal! We will definitely go again when we are back in town!

Cute lil old school bar/restaurant. Food was delish. We had crispy chicken sandwich and pork green chili plus the Elk chili. All 3 were delicious. Nothing over the top.

I recently visited The Creek and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. From the start, the server was rude and dismissive, which set a poor tone for the meal. The prices were shockingly high for what was delivered—especially given that the bread we received was burnt. It’s one thing to pay a premium for good food and service, but this place fell short on both counts. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for quality service or value for your money.

Good service. The steak we had was just so-so. But the wings were really good. So it went from a 3 to 4 based on the wings.

I'd say in a nutshell, hit or miss. Pretty busy on a Sunday, so we got seats at the bar promptly. The elk chili was pretty good, but it was $1.50 for like an 1/8th of a cup of cheese (I'd consider cheese a standard chili topper but anyways). They were sold out of a few things, so we tried the bison sirloin steak. Significantly underseasoned and pretty much almost raw throughout (asked for medium rare). I didn't bother sending it back as bison can be a bit fussy if you try reheating it. The seasoned veggies was sauteed broccoli, which was tasty. The baked potato was so so. Adding bacon, sour cream, cheese, butter, and green onions cost like $5 bucks extra, so again felt a little nickel and dimed. Our server was nice but a little forgetful, though she was slammed, so no huge deal. We may try it again, but for now I rate it 3.5/5
