This is easily one of my new favorite places to eat in Cripple Creek! Super good Bison burgers and string fries, but lots of other choices that look good, too. This is a small, Veteran owned, operated, and staffed restaurant. 2 floors, 2 bars for overflow, and a good-sized private room are available. The decor exudes old Colorado. Might even be haunted. :-) I leave that to you.

When we first arrived in cripple creek we wanted to eat something g we were so hungry we came to this place. It was not to busy, the bar had a few spots open but we wanted to sit down, we wait and wait the sign in the front say please wait to be seated, and wait we did. One of the people at the bar said the the bartender that he could be put on the back burner if she wanted to seat us the lady at the bar to this man “no your the important ones” like WHAT? We waited a bit longer, we waited about 15 mins to be sat and nothing not even a hello we will be right with you, we got they are not important, we never got sat so we left and went one door down and go sat down and got service. I’m very shocked that we were deemed not important enough to even say a hello to.

We had an excellent meal. The staff were jovial and hospitable. The place was clean and neat. Old fashion and delicious. Excellent spot to grab a warm snack before visiting the Ice Castle, up the road.

Great vibes, cozy bar n restaurant. I started with the fried pickle spears which were like fries and quiet good. Then ordered the house elk burger, cooked almost to medium. So good. The beer selection from Paradox is on point too.Servers were friendly and great as well. We'll def be back, hopefully to try the elk medallions.Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating.

Had the crispy chicken sandwich with fries. Chicken was overcooked and tough and the fries were greasy and limp. I have had better. I asked for a second glass of water and our server disappeared. Didn't see her until the check came. I don't think I will be eating here again. I am local and this is the first time I have ever eaten here. I am a long time reviewer for trip advisor and will be adding another review on their website.

Enjoyed the Elk Chili! And as for someone who always orders corn tortillas, I was quite pleased with their flour tortilla! Served warm, folded, and crisp on the edges. Perfect flour tortilla.

I had only eaten at restaurants inside casinos in Cripple Creek until this week (after living in Colorado Springs for 19 years). Aafter walking through the Ice Festival and seeing this one, I decided to take my wife there for an early lunch.I had a cup of green chili and a patty melt cooked medium. My wife had the home made mac-and-cheese. Wow. This place was absolutely delicious. If you stop in Cripple Creek gold country for a day trip, definitely dine here!

Great food and friendly staff. Loved the menu and the old building was a cool ambiance. Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed but hopefully they will get some more help soon.
