went in 2 weeks ago, ordered 15 donuts. 8 regular raised and 7 filled with their angel cream. When I used to go, when they filled the donuts, they would make sure they were FULL. this time, they was hardly anything in any of the filled donuts. Like virtually nothing. just a tiny dab on either side of the donuts. actually 2 had exactly zero filling in them but had the holes were they looked like they went to fill them. they were just empty! After spending this kind of $ (plus 25 mins travel time each way) it was VERY disappointing! Spend 40 on 15 donuts and get shafted! Sadly, I will not be going back. there is a donut shop MUCH closer to me that I can get donuts from that is cheaper and 20 mins closer. my husband and kids just really like THESE donuts. (the filling mostly!) Now I will just go to the Donut Haus in Thornton. Seems like since the first time I went and the last time I went, they started penny pinching and skimped on the best part of the donuts, so now I will spend my money elsewhere.

This is the 4th or 5th time I've made the 13 mile trek to get these donuts since my orginial review. Still a happy camper and my husband and kids love waking up to fresh delicious donuts! Unfortunately, this am I got 7 filled donuts and 1 had no cream in it 😔😭😭😭 3 had hardly any cream. Not like they usually are. I mean a dallop at best on either side. Had to dock stars for that part. These donuts are not overly cheap (nor not overly expensive) but when you ask for them FILLED, I fully expect what has been given on the past (and by past, I mean the past couple of months that I've been going, not like years where costs have gone up dramatically and they have to cut down little by little to cover costs) this was a huge drop in filling in 2 weeks. Like went from being almost over full, to almost non-existent at this point.
Idk why there are bad reviews on this place. The donuts are actually really good and I'm not even a donut fan! Only went in because we were waiting for my son's friends at the airsoft range about 6 miles away and they were running late and I was starving. Got 4 long johns filled with their vanilla cream. And 4 chocolate raised. When I say they till their donuts, THEY FILL them! Hubs and sons were happy! Even I ate 1/2 a donut (again, not a donut/sweets fan) I'm seriously considering going back today for more! Prices were super fair! Was expecting to spend WAY more! Its 10 miles away and I'm getting in my car to go get more long johns and raised donuts! Delicious!

My daughter asked for donuts to bring to school today for her birthday. I called a week in advance to order 24 of her favorite kind of donut to bring. The employee working took my order, my name and phone number and even read everything back to me (including the date and time I wanted to pick up). I go to pick up my order this morning and they had no record of my order at all and said they could just give us 24 assorted of what was left in the case (which were extremely picked over). Extremely disappointed since they changed ownership.

Used to be my favorite donut place until management changed or something the lady that used to run it was completely awesome and so nice. Now when you call and do an order for pickup, the lady sounds like you're calling a detention center and you still order dozens of donuts for your child's Christmas party in good faith go pay almost $100 for his classroom donuts only to open them up and find out they are yesterday's donuts and not assorted by any manner. Looks like yesterday's leftovers. Very disappointed wish I could post a picture thanks again daylight for being the disappointment of my child's holiday party at least everyone knows where they came from

My husband and I stopped in today. We were greeted by a bald guy. Who seemed very nice & helpful. Then all of a sudden a lady with blue eyes appeared from we don't know where. But she rushed us and was very rude. We were trying to order a dozen of donuts but no one was really telling us which flavors of donuts there were. My husband felt she was very rude & rushing us. Not sure why it was only 10 a.m. But I will never return, and I thought I liked this place. Not anymore

I always visit here when I come to Colorado. I lived in this area almost 12 yrs ago, and it was good to see that it was still going well. You can sit and talk, have a coffee, and enjoy one of their great homemade sandwiches that Linda makes. On a sad note I found out that there are going to be new owners soon. And they are already talking about changes. It's a small country place that has a great atmosphere and really should continue as such. That's why they lasted so long. Hope it's still around next time I come back for a visit.
