The food was fantastic! We finally stopped and had lunch the other day. I am a cheeseburger junkie. I have not been able to get a decent diner style burger in a long time. The cheeseburger I got was exactly what I was looking for. Done perfectly juicy medium, crispy toasted bun, melty cheese, and fresh toppings you put on yourself. OMG, so good! The fries are great as well, super crisp, and are perfect with the fry sauce. We are definitely coming back.
After 15 or 20 visits, I’ve never ordered anything that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. With an eclectic menu like E.L.F. has, there’s no shortage of new things to try that sound good. More importantly, they do such a good job preparing the food that it’s usually better in flavor, texture, and presentation than you could have imagined from reading the menu. I tried the cabbage burgers last week, and loved them! The sweet bread was soft and tender, clearly freshly made. The cabbage and beef inside were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the fries were delicious, crispy without being burned, and fresh. There were only about four things to consider, as far as freshness, flavor, texture, and presentation, and E.L.F. Nailed all four perfectly. Every time I eat there, it’s the same result. If you haven’t tried it yet, you should. You won’t be disappointed!

Not sure how this restaurant got a 4.5 rating. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was way below my expectations. Basically it was ground up meat of some kind and then flattened very, very thin with a flour coating outside - then deep fried. Terrible! French fries were great. Coleslaw was tasteless. One the other hand, my husband had the chicken fried chicken and it was very good. An actual good size chicken breast with a great batter, then deep fried. He had what they called fresh corn but in our thoughts it came out of a can. The reason we went with a 2 rating was that my husband's meal was actually pretty good. Before I forget, the gravey on top was congealed . Horrible looking but it was at least hot. If this is the type of meal you would like to eat, by all means...go. As for us, we will never go back.

Amazing service with a small town feel. Owners were there greeting people and helping to serve. Food was delicious! Definitely recommend.
This is a wonderful home style restaurant with lots of enticing choices! I had the cabbage rolls which were delicious! The restaurant is clean and the service excellent.This establishment also has a food truck that visits underserved communities. I plan to check that out very soon!

The food was a mess! Everything was mixed in. I ordered pasta with a side of fries and they through it in all together. The past looked like it was prepackaged and the sauce store bought. The bread was not even warm. Bad experience will not eat here again

Decent "truck stop" food. The menu is huge, covering everything from a gyro to a deep fried oreo. Nothing was too impressive over the past two visits, but a close work staple for the crew.
Good diner fare with a kick. The chicken fried steak had a fun kick of green chilis in the gravy and the fried pickles were divine.
