Honestly first time here and extremely disappointed! Paid $32 including $10 tip for five burritos. All the burritos are smaller than my hand for $5 a pc. They should’ve explained or had a picture. It’s extremely disappointing and upsetting to get home and realize I’m gonna have to make breakfast on our anniversary anyway.

We all love Gabe’s around here. It’s the spot! Right in the heart of Frederick. This is the cafe that all small-towners crave.

Great easy diner that is easy to get in and out of for breakfast. Reasonable pricing, especially with kids.

Our new favorite diner! We drove up from Castle Rock to go to the pumpkin patch on Sunday and stopped on at Gabe's before going. So glad we did! Food was great (tamale breakfast) the young servers were so quick, pleasant and smiley. Such a cute place with reasonable prices. We'll definitely be back next time we head up north of Denver. Thanks!

Terrible service from start to finish. The food was okay at best. The waitress forgot our drinks, recommend a substitute for an item in the meal and charged us full price without explaining a up charge, forgot the fries that were ordered with one of our meals, sent my chicken salad to the wrong table and had to remake the salad. Waited well over a hour for our meal with all of the mistakes. For a salad and omelet the total was $40. When we questioned why our “substituted item” was on the bill, the waitress began arguing with us that it was a up charge. We reminded her that she substituted it for an item in the original meal. She stated the manager would not take the item off because we ate the item?
I wanted to like this restaurant so bad since it is close to home, but it was a huge disappointment. We told our friends about our experience in the community and urged them to think twice about eating here. We won’t be back.
