Food was okay, but the service/waitress was no good. She acted like she didn't want to be there. Didn't ask if there was anything else she could get us, didn't come back to check on us, didn't bring creamer for the coffee or ask if I needed any. Didn't even bring the ticket. I had to go the counter to get the ticket to pay. Very inattentive and very disappointing.
The food was pretty good. Real diner vibe. The wait was long, but they did have a help wanted sign on the front door. My friend thought the biscuits and gravy were very good. I liked the wheat toast and tasted homemade. They needed some ventilation inside. There are too many smells going on.
This place is a visible hidden gem. The service was quick and friendly. The prices are reasonable and the food is great. Try the southwestern fried steak it might change your mind on country fried steaks forever.
