Wonderful service and food! We were visiting from Colorado Springs and the food was amazing. I wish I would have taken pictures. We will definitely eat here again the next time we visit. Loved it!

Our server did not want to be there. His understanding of what we wanted was poor. The only other employee who was serving other tables stepped in at the end and was very engaging and friendly. I wished we had had him from the start. The portions were generous, served hot and delicious!

Went at 4:15 so a bit early. One person working very slow getting drinks for another table, there were only three tables occupied including us. Food was tasteless, margarita had so much lime you couldn’t drink it. Skip it!

This restaurant charged more on my card then what I signed. For all you locals keep tab on that. Those who pass thru definitely pass. Next time I pass thru I will go next door or across the street.
I’m the only one who rounds up what leaves my wallet. This one’s on you Chavalos! I’m sure locals will handle differently.

Good food, easy to get a table when other restaurants were busy. Not sure why people would wait at other places when this was as good as it was? Friendly staff. Good salsa bar. Reasonable pricing overall. Would return when passing through Del Norte.

We just had an incredible meal at Chavolos Mexican Restaurant and I can honestly say it's the best Mexican food we've ever tasted! I had the smothered burrito, and my son went with the Mexican burger—both were absolutely packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Every bite was better than the last! The food was fresh, the seasoning was spot on, and the portions were generous. We left completely satisfied and already talking about when we’ll be back. If you’re anywhere near this place, do yourself a favor and stop in. Chavolos is a true gem!

I asked for chicken tacos and they brought me store bought cold hard taco shells. I asked in advance if the shells were fried and he told me yes. When I requested a different type of tortilla for my chicken tacos he then brought me cold flour tortilla chicken tacos. I decided to try to eat it anyway and on my very first bite the chicken tasted very nasty and had Gross smell. I not usually picky but I wouldn’t ever go back here to spend my money.
First and last for me.
The chips and salsa were ok, if I wanna say atleast one good thing.
The service sucked also, we didn’t get a single refill and they never came around to see if we needed one.
I was there with my two grandkid, and there might have been two other tables occupied so it’s not like they were too busy.

Get the refried beans. Order it on the side if it’s not part of the plate. Best beans I’ve ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Don’t skip the beans.

I ordered enchiladas and my husband had the carne en alambre !! It was so delicious!!! The coffee and latte were so good!!! Stopping by from cali! I do recommend this spot!!!! Real Mexican food here!!
