For the price point I expected better sides than the canned green beans and fries that had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long. I choked down some of each of them but left a lot on the plate. The steak was cooked correctly and had good flavor. The pie for dessert was good. These two points and the great service took my experience from one star to three. I don't think I'll be back though. I can make better food at home.
We both had open faced meals with mashed potatoes and veggies. A little salt and pepper on the veggies would've given 5 stars. The dark brown gravy is very yummy and very big portions of everything. We couldn't resist the dessert case, but we're so full we had to get pie to go. The service was great and nice country atmosphere.
Best bacon wrapped filet I’ve had in years! The green chili is delish, and the yeast rolls everything you could ask for so far as dough deliciousness goes. As someone visiting from the southeast, heckin appreciate that they have sweet tea!
