Everything was great until I went to the Arapahoe Basin the food was not great and that would have been ok but I went to pay for a Moscow mule and used cash the bartender asked in a nasty way if my $100 was real infront of a whole bar of people so I told him to go check it. Then I walked to get somewhere to sit and eat as my daughter was skiing I went to the restaurant a patron asked why am I here alll the way up the mountain and I’m not skiing so I asked if the establishment was his as by this time I couldn’t breathe. They’re rude and condescending and as a black woman I refuse to set foot in this establishment ever again.

Very good fries, fall off the bone ribs, to die for smoke brisket and pull pork, crispy onion and juicy burger . Fun and hospitable servers team, best location for a lunch stop after good skiing day, plenty of tables and chairs and hooks for your jackets, clean restrooms on the same floor ( don't want to walk up and down stairs in your ski boots) very modest noise ambiance, inside and outside tables and loungers. Reasonable price for on mountain dining. Recommended.

Just go up one lift and you're here! It's a casual place with most people stopping during their ski runs for a quick bite or beer. The food portions are pretty good. We got the bison bread bowl and the pickled jalapeños were great. Only gave 3 stars because the rest of the bowl lacked a little flavor and first set of silverware we got was dirty. There is no table service.

One of my all time favorite places to eat for on-mountain dining. The BBQ is so phenomenal!

Awesome place, food was great! We took the lift up to sight see and eat lunch. Everyone was so helpful and nice. We didn't feel out of place and really enjoyed it. Thank you.

Black mount lodge pretty much has it all but is well known for their burgers and barbeque. I had the cheeseburger with fries for $20. It was the best lodge burger I have ever had. I heard the barbeque was amazing but I did not get the chance to try it. I also ate breakfast here at one of the Uphill and Chill events and it was amazing. All you can eat chef prepared breakfast and mimosa bar for $35. I highly recommend it if you are up for the challenge of snowshoeing or skiing up the mountain. The menu consisted of Crispy Pork Belly and Waffles, Sweet Potato Hash, Scrambled Eggs, Country Biscuits and Red-Eye Gravy, Strawberry and Asparagus Salad, and Blueberry-Banana Oatmeal Cake. The mimosa bar had several purees and fruit to add to your bubbly as well as juices.

This place never disappoints! It is at the top of the Black Mtn lift and the views are killer: we watched bad-ass East Wallers while we ate. We had White Bean Chile with cheese, sour cream and jalepenos: lots of veggies and yummy: it came with a corn muffin that was so-so. Nice touch tho. We also got a salmon bowl: delish!!!! North Atlantic, poached, rice, sweet spicy pickles. Kinda pricey but that is to be expected. And what you get for the $ surpasses most other ski resorts. I have never sat at their little bar but I'm gonna. The bloody's look fantastic.

Great place to warm up at the halfway point of the mountain. Super friendly staffWheelchair accessibility: Not ideal. It's halfway up the mountain, which requires taking the chair lift from the main lodge

Some yummy soup in arapahoe basin ski area. Definitely a bit overpriced, but that's what you get for high demand. Decent American food here with a chill cafeteria like vibe.

Nice lodge with great views part way up the mountain! Service was a little slow but the workers were really nice. They were able to tell me what was in the bison stew. I order the stew for ~$15. I was able to put toppings like cheese and sour cream on top. The crackers came with it and corn bread. The stew had many veggies and was pretty tasty. It was filling but a little salty. Lots of different options on the menu that looked good. The bbq smelled amazing. Overall a nice lodge eating experience!Went back the next day and got the salmon bowl!! I loved it! The sauce was great and the bowl was very filling. I thought the piece of salmon was a really good size. We did have to wait a little but I thought it was worth it! Yum!

We had a lovely night. Skiied during the day and took the chair up. The lodge is beautiful. Unfortunately, we sat at the very last seat to be able to get food. So when it was our turn, not much was left. Sit in the middle. This was for a special event dinner.

I know it's a ski resort, but $13-14 for a cup of soup is steeper than the slopes, and that's the cheapest hot item on the menu. Pack your own lunch and the atmosphere is great, though!A caveat is if you're on vacation and looking to splurge! If so, don't forget to try one of A-Basin's signature Bloody Mary's!Overall, Black Mountain Lodge is a great place to get warm and grab a quick snack or drink with a great view. As good as it looks and smells, we just can't spend that much on a pulled pork sandwich :)
