The cafe and restaurant, above Rathskeller, served pretty good ski area food! The hot chocolate is made to order with real chocolate and milk (with non-dairy options available!!). Great spot to warm up and take a break between runs as well.

Hate to say it, but probably racist.I never leave reviews, but this was by far the worst customer service experience ever…my friend and I sat at the bar at around 2:30 pm on Saturday 5/7…bartender (with pigtails) never greeted us, never acknowledged us, she literally wouldn’t even look in our direction the entire time! Everyone seated at the bar had their needs met…full drinks, food, etc. She turns her back & begins doing busy work…at least 3 different customers present to the bar and she turns around and very attentively asks for their order and then afterwards goes back to whatever “important” task she has going on…never assisted us…so we leave. Mind you we are the only minorities in this establishment…make of that what you will.

I’ve never seen a bartender take so long in my entire life. The girl working at 2:00 pm on March 30th is incompetent.
This place was great. They serve an awesome variety of foods from sandwiches, salads, pizzas, and incredible desserts and terrific coffee.There is plenty of seating inside the lodge, and great views of the mountain from the base. One thing that was extremely surprising is that it was unusually cheap! Typically you pay a premium at ski lodges/resorts --that's certainly not the case here. The prices were fantastic.Overall great experience. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and polite, and the food was very good.

Main bar in the day lodge. Downstairs. Good apres-ski. Hang out and bs with friends. Sometimes they provide popcorn. One can order food till the kitchen closes - whenever that is. Can get very loud inside. Better since they outlawed inside smoking in Colorado.
