The cafe and restaurant, above Rathskeller, served pretty good ski area food! The hot chocolate is made to order with real chocolate and milk (with non-dairy options available!!). Great spot to warm up and take a break between runs as well.
This place was great. They serve an awesome variety of foods from sandwiches, salads, pizzas, and incredible desserts and terrific coffee.There is plenty of seating inside the lodge, and great views of the mountain from the base. One thing that was extremely surprising is that it was unusually cheap! Typically you pay a premium at ski lodges/resorts --that's certainly not the case here. Main bar in the day lodge. Downstairs. Good apres-ski. Hang out and bs with friends. Sometimes they provide popcorn. One can order food till the kitchen closes - whenever that is. Can get very loud inside. Better since they outlawed inside smoking in Colorado.
