Felt like I was drinking at a bar in the south on the coast. Great environment and service!
We came here for snacks and drinks. The drinks and views were amazing.
Great Lake, Ridiculous Prices at Pug Ryan’s Tiki Bar
Lake Dillon was incredible with beautiful views and great fishing off the public dock. My son even caught a small rainbow trout! Afterward, we stopped at Pug Ryan’s Tiki Bar for drinks and appetizers before heading to Breckenridge, but we were seriously shocked by the prices.
We ordered 6 wings ($20), a plain burger for our son ($20), two sodas, a beer, and a house margarita ($15) and the bill was over $100. For what we got, it felt like a total ripoff. The food was average at best, definitely not worth the price tag.
The only win? A $5 snow cone from a nearby truck that my daughter loved.
If you’re visiting Lake Dillon, enjoy the lake, but skip Pug Ryan’s. There are better options nearby that won’t drain your wallet.
The bartenders were incredibly rude and unhelpful.
A little expensive but great view.
What a view!!! We had the Painkiller drinks, which were amazing! They don’t load their drinks with ice like other places, which is awesome. We had the cheesesteak and chicken tenders. We will definitely be back when we come back to town!
Best place for lunch. Ask for Miranda, Ryan, or Joy.
We sail from Frisco regularly to try to have a nice cocktail and lunch and enjoy the view.
But the service is so bad. The beer is bitter, warm and flat. Queso and salsa a joke..
Get some cold fresh beer options.
And the service sucks.
Atmosphere fantastic!!!
Must be nice being the only bar in town.
Got the wings and the peel and eat shrimp. Both were delicious, a little pricey, but the view of the lake was nice. The Painkiller drink was delicious! We could sit outside with the dogs.
The convenience of it being next to the lake is nice. I didn’t want to loose my parking spot on a busy weekend so I ate here twice during my sailing lesson. but the food is not good, and the waitresses are mean. Get snacks at the gas station before you arrive at the lake and eat at a picnic bench by the park. I would not eat here if I didn’t feel like I would loose my parking spot. The shrimp po boy was mostly goopy mayonnaise, the cheesesteak was ok. They threw away someone’s take away food and then wouldn’t refund him the tip.

Sat for 20 mins at a table after a sign at the front informed us to seat ourselves. We watched every single table around us who sat after be acknowledged and served and did not have a single person speak to us. Made eye contact with several employees but was never acknowledged. Would be helpful to note we are a noticeably LGBTQ couple.
