Great dive bar. Didn't try the food but the beer was cold and the staff was friendly...and good beer specials.

Great burger menu, we make a habit to stop in whenever we're in town. The young man behind the bar was a gem.

I walked in and sat the the bar for 10 minutes before even getting acknowledged. The bartender was too busy with everyone else to even make eye contact with me. I’ve worked, ran and owned bars for the last 20+ years and I believe that this is completely unacceptable. Say hi and I will be with you shortly, but I didn’t even get that kind of reception. I’d let an employee go for less.

Hidden gem. One of the park rangers at nearby Sylvan Lake recommended this place while visiting Eagle. The Haven coffee rub burger is, no hyperbole, the best burger I have ever had in Colorado. Martin, our server, was the absolute man and made the experience unforgettable. Can’t wait to eat here again.

Great burgers and great brunch on the weekends. Coldest Coors light I’ve had in a long time. We go here every time we are in town. Go and you won’t regret it.

Wasn’t sure what to expect. Don’t seem very busy when we got there. 545 pm. However the food was great. Love the fries and the green chile burger is worth another trip to this saloon. Not to mention the atmosphere was great. Made for a great trip to see the ice castle.

Kid-friendliness: Hunting arcade game was a hit for the 4 year old who just was happy to hold the shotgun.

A bit of a whiskey bar. The service was friendly, but overly mustachioed and hipster

Stopped here on our way to Denver, honestly, one of the very best hamburgers I’ve had! Atmosphere was a cool “Old Cowboy” bar seated with people enjoying drinks. Staff was amazing, our waitress stated she’s been working there since 2011 and still enjoys the food they serve! Worth the stop in Eagle

Burgers are great, but it seems to end there. They need to change out their fryer oil more often and hire another server. Appetizers come out with or after the meal. Your date will get their food and yours will be along 20 monutes later. Every time its something like that. But your hands are tied 'cause there's not that many other restaurants in town. Mostley, change out that fryer oil, because everything fried tastes like burnt grease. It's literally the only time i've sent back tortilla chips.

If you are looking for a friendly place to go have a quick bite and drinks, avoid this place at all costs. It is a seat yourself bar, so my wife and I sat down. It took about 10 minutes to have someone come over and acknowledge us with an excuse on what took her so long to get over to us. We ordered some appetizers that were all overcooked. The chicken was dry as hell. The only thing that was yummy was the sweet potato tator tots. When we ordered our food, our server didn't even bring anything over to write it down on. She was not prepared at all. She promised us waters and completely forgot that until out food got there. At that point we were over being in that bar. We ordered our food to go and once we did that we finally got the waters we were promised. Christina finally came over and made excuses on why she was a bad server. I don't want to gear excuses. Your service was horrible, the food was crap and overpriced. I'd recommend not going there at all. Maybe someone other then Christina is a good server but I highly doubt it

2024 edit - Things were improving for a while but they just implemented a 20% price increase. This food just isn't worth $17-$20 for a sandwich.

Edited my rating. This place has really gone downhill. I've literally spent thousands of dollars here over the course of a decade plus. We had several bad visits in a row but our last visit was a doozy, they had been only accepting cash for weeks but we went anyway. We ordered our food and it took over an hour to arrive. A buffalo chicken salad arrived but we ordered a BBQ chicken salad. The server admitted it was her fault but the cook refused to remake it. This caused a kerfuffle and the manager ended up closing the kitchen down entirely that afternoon. We tried to close our tab and nobody would pay attention to us, finally I flagged down some young kid, gave him cash, and then he shorted me $5. I was so darned angry at this point I just let them steal my money and I left. I won't be going back unless I've heard things have changed. Maybe they should fire the cook who basically holds that place hostage when he gets moody.
