The waitress helped recommend me which dishes were the best and most popular. They were very delicious, especially the hot and Sour soup and the beef skewers! WOWIE! So good!

Great food!
Last night on 10-12-2025, my two friends and I went to eat here. I’ve ate here before and haven’t had a problem, but this time was different. I had a Shirley Temple and when I finished I asked if I could have another one. The waitress who’s a bit older and smaller said no refills, so I asked for a different drink and she said no I’m not sure I’ll go ask. She brought out a different drink in the same exact cup, no added ice, nothing. Same Shirley temple residue in my cup as before. I was eating my shrimp dish and there was a piece of what I presumed to be metal in my food. There were small pieces left in another piece and my friend waved the man over. He said they were pieces of stainless steel from when they wash dishes and that it got into my food. He asked me what I wanted him to do, and I asked for another dish. At the end, they didn’t comp my meal although this was an error on their end and I could’ve potentially hurt my mouth really badly due to their incompetence. I will not be going back and I recommend everyone eats slowly and pays attention to what is in their food. The customer service was beyond poor and their was no indication that they felt remorse for a piece of stainless steel being in my food.

DELICIOUS. Exactly what I wanted from take out Chinese. Despite being generally scared of ordering Asian food from small towns in Colorado (check my review history), I was impressed at the quality, flavor, and volume of food! We ordered lomein, friend rice, wonton soup, and kung pow chicken. I was really satisfied and dreamt of the beef and shrimp in the fried rice for the next 24 hours.

I tried their Gourmet China Special bento box. It was huge size. I was already full and the photo showed what was left. Fried rice, and beef with broccoli were great. And even their luck cookie seemed thicker and bigger than others.

I had Dinner here last night, beside the dumpling. Everything was Horrible. I was sadly surprised that this is the worse Chinese food I ever had. Started from the way it looks, the presentation and taste. Nothing to save. I don’t understand how this place still in business. 😞

A Must-Stop Spot Between Vail and Glenwood Springs!
Every time we ski at Vail and head to Glenwood Hot Springs, stopping at Gourmet China in Eagle has become our favorite tradition. The food here is consistently excellent, and the flavors are always spot on!
On our most recent visit, we enjoyed the Shredded Pork in Garlic Sauce and Peking Beef—both absolutely delicious. The pork was tender and packed with rich, garlicky umami goodness, perfectly balanced with fresh vegetables. The Peking Shredded Beef was crispy, savory, and beautifully complemented by the fresh scallions on top. Each dish came with fluffy white rice, a crispy spring roll, and a sweet-and-sour dipping sauce, making for a well-rounded and satisfying meal.
Beyond the fantastic food, the service is friendly, and the portions are generous. Whether you’re coming off the slopes or winding down from a day at the hot springs, Gourmet China is the perfect place to refuel with comforting, flavorful Chinese cuisine. Highly recommend!
5/5 stars—this place never disappoints!

Very bad service. Literally no one welcomes you in or ask how can they help when picking up orders. It’s like you were invisible and when they do “talk” to you is like if they were doing you a favor to even listen to you.
Food is “meh”. Too expensive for what they serve.
The restaurant itself smells weird kinda dirty.

I hate leaving bad reviews, I really do. But my lord that food was miserable. It tasted worse than frozen. The chicken was stringy, gray, and dry. The staff was very swift and genuinely sweet. Amazing service, but the food made me sick and didn't taste even decent in the process.

The place is not clean and the food was average at best.
The door as you walk in if filthy and that should have been my first hint. The counters were sticky and not clean and looking around the guest side and seeing what I saw really made me wonder what the kitchen looked like.

Busy Christmas evening, yet I didn't have to wait a long time. Egg rolls and mu shu pork were excellent and serving size large enough to take home enough leftover for 2 more meals. Price very reasonable
