I’m part of an aircrew so I’m on the road all the time. I just wanted a pizza, but not from a chain. The Twisted Root was suggested to me by the front desk. Man, were they on point. The two people who waited on me were so down to earth and friendly. The restaurant had a cool funky vibe to it. Most importantly, the pizza. It was AMAZING !! You can tell it’s made from scratch and with fresh ingredients. I got a medium which as you can see was enormous. I’ll easily get 2-3 meals out of it. Wish they were where I live. Def will be back when I’m in town again!

What a gem! Located within walking distance of our hotel this place has an inventive and diverse menu, great food, delicious cocktails, and friendly staff. The breakfast menu looked awesome, too, and if not for the free hotel offerings, we would have been back in the morning.

The pizza is delicious and offers various vegan meats to top. Burgers, wraps are great, sides are good. Breakfasts with Just Egg and vegan sausage are good, although biscuits too crumbly to hold sandwich. Ask for extra condiments as some stuff is somewhat dry. Again ask for extra condiments:-)

Just got out of this place feeling disgusted. I’ve asked (and made sure to clearly ask) for a vegan chicken pizza. After waiting about an hour for my pizza to be made, I took a bite of the first slice and knew something was wrong. I went to the blonde lady at the counter and asked her to make sure if that was a vegan pizza. She confirmed it was. I went back to my table, finished the first slice of pizza and started my second one and was 100% sure that it wasn’t vegan chicken, it was real chicken. I went back to the blonde lady at the counter and asked her once again to make sure in the back if it was vegan. She comes out a few minutes later saying that she’s truly sorry that it wasn’t a vegan pizza and that they got mixed up in the back. I understand mistakes happen, but I feel this is truly unacceptable because I actually went back to check and I was once again and told that it was a vegan pizza. I asked for my refund and immediately left, again disgusted. I would’ve asked if I could be made a free pizza as a customer courtesy but I didn’t even want to deal with their food ever again. Such a horrible experience.
Love the breakfast here and the staff is excellent!

We just ate dinner. Pizza and wings! The gentleman working (manager or owner we weren't sure) was very accommodating. Wait staff very friendly and attentive and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We all give it a thumbs up.

June 8, 2024 Ashley and I walked around Sylvan Lake State Park, we then went to the visitor center and saw hummingbirds! After we had dinner at Twisted Root in Eagle Colorado and stopped at Eagle River Park to watch the rapid surfers!

Most of the food was really good. My vegan chicken parm was oddly shaped so it was half bread & tomato, half cold vegan chicken. There seemed to be more fries than actual entre. Our appetizer we ordered came after all of our food & my dad wanted onion rings but it didn’t come until after we got our check, which had the brussel sprouts rang in twice so be sure to ask to see your receipt before paying. It seemed like there was a lot of miscommunication & forgetfulness between the servers & kitchen, imagine if it was a busy night. Overall the food was good but really overpriced for what it is.
