This place is legit. Fully vegan separate menu, tasty food, and friendly staff. We got the SEC breakfast biscuit and the biscuit was moist and buttery. Perfect spicy chai, too. We’ll definitely be back.
MAKE SURE YOU SPECIFY VEGAN WHEN ORDERING OFF THE VEGAN MENU. Some items on the vegan menu have the exact same name as their non-vegan counter parts. We went in, immediately asked for the vegan breakfast menu. A few bites into the burrito we got, I noticed bits of egg white- just egg has absolutely no white in it - so we called and confirmed. The guy working there was super nice and the vegan menu was impressive but it gave us a false sense of confidence. I hate to give them a [censored] review but the owner needs to edit the vegan menu because it's [censored] up that if you say exactly the name of the vegan item you want straight off the vegan menu, you could end up with an item that has multiple real animal products.
Got takeaway from here with my omnivore partner. The taste of the food was excellent, especially the pizza. In an area with limited options, I appreciate that. But it was very expensive for the portion sizes (including the meat, for those of you dining with non-vegans). I know things are pricy in mountain/resort towns, but we genuinely laughed out loud when we opened the wings. I’d hesitate to return for that reason. Updated from previous review on 2025-02-22
This place is the gem of Eagle. The coffee was so tasty maple chicken biscuit was absolutely delicious. Staff was so nice.
Came here to try their new Sunday brunch with bottomless mimosas. The food was mediocre and not hot. The people at another table had steaming hot food… ours was cold and took forever to come out. We had already taken care of our bill with the female trainee and as we were leaving, the male waiter quickly approached us as if we were leaving without paying. We felt rushed and the male, “Turner” made us feel uncomfortable. We were born and raised in Vail (true locals) and the whole experience was very insulting. Never again!
The vegan food is amazing! I think itp would be helpful for business and potential customers if they had their vegan menu online on their website. They also could share with every customer about their full vegan menu. You have to ask for the vegan menu. I sat for a while conversing with friends with no water, so the service can improve, although Turner and the owner are super nice! Updated from previous review on 2025-01-12
I had the Chicken on the Farm pizza, and it was honestly the best pizza I've had in a long time. The place has such a cozy atmosphere, and the service was exceptional. A wonderful experience all around!
Awesome vegan breakfast!

It is hard to decide whether the food or the service was better, as both were excellent beyond words. We had a party of 12, and whilst we expected to not be able to eat together in such a quaint establishment, our server, Tanner, warmly urged us in and made us feel exceptionally welcome. In less than 5 minutes he had made and set a long table that generously accommodated all of us. Our food was ready in about 15 minutes and every bite was marvelous, the carnivore and Thai’d Up pizzas were my two favorites, but everyone was more than amazed by their meal. After our meal, I have to say that I think the pizza may be some of the best I’ve ever had, but Tanner was quite possibly the best server I’ve met.
We are definitely customers for life from here on out, and I hope everyone else enjoys it just as much as we did.

Great food and they have a whole VEGAN menu coming soon, but all the deliciousness is already available!! I had the vegan "wings" with Raspberry Chipotle sauce and they were yummy!! I'll try the vegan cruelty free chicken mozeralla next time!

Very good food! Atmosphere is very inviting!
New to the area? Definitely go here for some good food! The staff is very friendly, had a great time! Owner is awesome!
Awesome vegan options (and they mentioned they are working on a fully vegan menu separate from their regular menu). Their vegan chicken sandwich was great. Order was done on time, this place is a great takeout option.
Sandwich was huge and they gave us a ton of fries. Will definitely be back.

Twisted Root in Eagle, CO, is a fantastic vegan-friendly spot! Despite being super busy, Jeff took the time to walk us through all the vegan options, which was greatly appreciated. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it a great place to relax. I was especially grateful to find gluten-free options alongside the vegan choices. The combination of great service and delicious food makes Twisted Root a must-visit for anyone looking for tasty plant-based options. The only cons would be that the pizza crust can be either vegan or gluten free but not both & limited vegan/gluten free baked goods. Great music & vibes - highly recommend it!

Amazing staff, good drinks, wonderful environment. Jeff, Mark and the rest of the crew were so enjoyable to be around. Very welcoming all the way around 🥰
A hidden gem in Eagle CO near I70. Various vegan options made in house including sandwiches, pizza, seitan wings, sauces, salads, cookies & starters. Milk alternatives for coffee.
