Little cafe that looks to be family run by kind folks who greet you with genuine smiles. The food is clearly hand made and the biscuits are absolutely delicious; I have never had biscuits and gravy like this before. We drove 2 hours round trip to try it and see the fall colors and would make the trip again.

Paid for double order of potatoes got less than a single order. Not the first time this has happened, the food is alright, but would like to get what I pay for. My order was to go, when you get home you don’t want to go back, I’ll drive to Connie’s in Cedaredge next time!

Sooo good!
My family has been in Cedaredge for decades, but this is the first time visiting The Happy Moose Cafe. I do a lot of traveling all over the world, and this cafe’s food is so fresh; what a beautiful and professional presentation.
One silly review commented on the availability of some items off the menu… this is not Denny’s where they have everything frozen or canned in the back, and at ANY good cafe or restaurant, patrons know they need to get there first thing if they want to get the goods before they’re gone! ?

The food is fabulous, the restaurant is spotless and the staff, who I assume are the owners, are very pleasant. Best biscuits and gravy we've ever had and breakfast tacos to die for. Bring something to read, because it takes a while for the food to come out. It IS worth the wait, and I can imagine finding staff for these small, rural businesses is tough. But the cook, who I assume is the owner, has to be a professionally trained chef. Wow. Go there.

The coffee did not taste like coffee. Was very bad, first time I have had a refund for coffee. The food was not good either and service was terrible.

Love this place! Just moved to the area and it’s my go-to breakfast for pick up when I wanna treat myself to something yummy. Staff is always super kind and friendly as well. If you’re in the area and want to support a local business, stop in at Happy Moose Cafe!

The internet says "Open 7 a.m. Sunday. Drove down for some cinnamon rolls but the sign on the door said "Closed." Had to go elsewhere.

I came in when I didn’t even realize they were closing. He was so nice! He made me what I wanted- a Barbadoa Quesadilla and it was fantastic. Good green chile, great meat. I never place reviews but this place was amazing!! I would come back again. And again.

Best breakfast burrito around. Fully stocked up on everything, and the waitress was friendly and the place was clean. My son found something he liked. No playground or anything but I wouldn't expect a cafe to be catering to kids. what cafe is really for kids? You go here to eat not play on the table

Check out their health inspection report. Not washing hands... absolutely disgusting. No wonder their food is terrible and you get sick from eating there. Wash your hands and stop serving old food.
