Little cafe that looks to be family run by kind folks who greet you with genuine smiles. The food is clearly hand made and the biscuits are absolutely delicious; I have never had biscuits and gravy like this before. We drove 2 hours round trip to try it and see the fall colors and would make the trip again.
Paid for double order of potatoes got less than a single order. Not the first time this has happened, the food is alright, but would like to get what I pay for. My order was to go, when you get home you don’t want to go back, I’ll drive to Connie’s in Cedaredge next time!

My family has been in Cedaredge for decades, but this is the first time visiting The Happy Moose Cafe. I do a lot of traveling all over the world, and this cafe’s food is so fresh; what a beautiful and professional presentation.
One silly review commented on the availability of some items off the menu… this is not Denny’s where they have everything frozen or canned in the back, and at ANY good cafe or restaurant, patrons know they need to get...
