Food and drinks are always delicious! We love the happy hour selections and that it runs for most of the day! Can't go wrong with the 2 Crunchy Tacos, Shaggy Style or the chips and queso! Plenty of options for vegetarians, too, including Beyond Meat.
I really enjoyed this place! We came during lunch and got excellent service. We dined from the happy hour menu and also enjoyed some drinks, which had a decent pour. Prices are really good if you go during happy hour and the portions are plenty!

I really liked the queso and chips. The service was great but the food was subpar. Refried beans resembled those from a can, tortilla was cold, and Doritos nachos reminded us of Taco Bell meat. I liked the elote but it could have used more chili seasoning. Struggled with menu items like squash ratatouille tacos. Now the margarita though, did not disappoint. Again, the service was great. We received our food quickly and the restaurant staff consistently checked in with us. If you are looking for nice restaurant staff and good margaritas this is a good spot to go.
I will say, the best thing about Cochino’s is the staff and the atmosphere. Great service, we had a new girl (wish we could remember her name) and she was fantastic. My wife and I both really wanted to like this place because it’s local in our neighborhood. We’ve given it a couple tries. The food is really missing something. Fairly bland and just nothing special. Even with ordering some items from the happy hour, we found it to be not worth the price for what we got.I will say whoever does the marketing at this place is a savage and doubled down on making t-shirts for the staff with their one-star reviews. Much respect. For that, we give two stars. However, we kind of agreed with some of the one star reviews so it kind of backfired. Not sure if that was just confirmation bias or what.Anyways, hope they make a few menu changes.
Love this location! Great space and service, not to mention the dog friendly patio. I perfected a drink with my dog’s picture printed on it - so cute!!! I love the shaggy taco and queso dip. Salads are yummy too.
The food is NOT good. I got the carne asada and barbacoa tacos. Might as well go to Torchy’s or any other taco place.
