Gladys Restaurant

This place does it right. They moved from the counter walk up location into a nicer seated dining area which is an upgrade. You can tell they put thought and care into the menu and use quality ingredients. Definitely one of the best vegan restaurants around.

This place has the best vegan food in Denver! Everything we tasted was delicious. The layers of flavor that go into their food is so well thought. The new location is a beautiful setting for a romantic dinner, or a night out with friends. I have been there twice since they open, and I have already made plans to go back!

They now have a seated dining experience in another section of edgewater market. Every dish we tried was delicious and service was great. Don’t sleep on the gnocchi and the strawberry rhubarb cake.

Congratulations to Gladys for moving to a bigger restaurant space! Their expanded menu is delicious! I loved the new vegan French dip! Excited to keep coming back and trying all of the new items.

Long time fan of Gladys. Everything is so creative and always delicious. New location has expanded the menu to add some delicious sandwiches plus more. Go here immediately. Ordered the garden dip, Greg burger, crunchy cabbage and potato croquettes..everything was phenomenal.

The burnt scallion gnocchi might be the most delicious savory dish I have ever had in my life. So sad I live two thousand miles away!

Today was the reopening in the old Metaburger location. The sit-down area of the restaurant is very nice, with a bar and tables. The service was great. The menu expansion seems fantastic. Contender for best restaurant in Denver.

Update: Gladys now has seating and an expanded menu. All the food was wonderful as always, the garlic bread we had as an app was especially exceptional. They have also added a few n/a drinks, kombucha, etc. Remains my favorite restaurant of all time, now it's somehow even a little bit better. Been to Gladys several times. Absolutely spectacular every time. Had fried brussel sprouts last time that are easily one of the best things I've had anywhere. You won't go away stuffed but your taste buds will thank you! Possibly my favorite restaurant in Denver. Everything is vegan (I think, they might occasionally have dairy options). Changing menu, great food, and the desserts are so good too!

I might have to say this is the best food I’ve had in years! We came here 3 times in 2 days during our trip to Denver. We ordered the Reuben and the risotto all three times, and also had the sweet pea toast once. The Reuben and risotto are the best I’ve ever had. I’ve never heard of celery root being used as a meat substitute before, so I was very surprised how well it worked when trying it. The sweet pea toast was also very good, the produce they use is incredibly fresh. This is a must try!!!

Delicious, creative and plant forward vegan food in Sloans Lake. Pretty reasonable prices, and rotating menu with the seasons. Some favorites are the mushroom risotto, Ruben, and chocolate chip cookies. You can’t go wrong with Gladys!

It’s hard for me to order something besides the Reuben…but everything I’ve ever had at Gladys has been perfection.

Pretty satisfied with my order always!! Not a talkative staff but respect their chef skills!
