Have worked in the service industry for 13 years and just showed up 10 minutes before the time shown as closing online to be denied service for New Zealand ice cream. As a former service worker, I understand it’s frustrating to have to stay open until closing time and wait to do certain side work but the closing time is when you stop allowing people in and then post closing time is for side work. If your workers want to get out earlier then you should post a closing time 15 minutes before last call. Extremely frustrating to drive 25 minutes in the snow and ice for something to be told we cannot be accommodated. If I ever did that at any of the places I’ve worked I would have been promptly fired.

We hired Happy Cones' ice cream truck for our mini golf event and it was a big hit! They were easy to work with and have fantastic ice cream - they brought about 9 flavors with them including dairy free! Highly recommend them for events - or just stopping into their locations for a treat for yourself.

Amazing ice cream, there is no doubt about that! Also, if you read the story about the owner, they seem like a really cool person with an inspiring story. The coffee chocolate crack milkshake is my go-to. My only complaint is that $10 for a milkshake is kind of rediculous. I don’t usually complain about prices in my reviews, because you tend to get what you pay for and I know prices are going up, but $10…for a milkshake? What has this world come to. Anyway I’m going to reluctantly continue to spend my money here because it’s delicious and I’m hooked. Also, very friendly service!! Thanks Happy Cones
