Was sitting at the bar, and watched a group of 3 walk in, 2 ordered drinks and when the third came to the bar, to show his ID, the bartender refused to give him service, saying he left the restroom with another person (accused of doing drugs). They hadn't been there for 5 minutes or less...they left without fight. I just don't understand either the lack of awareness to know how long patrons have been in your bar, or just the picking and choosing who to serve. I didn't like the attitude of the bartenders, especially when new patrons are supposed to be welcomed. I even heard him mention he was the DD!

Doesn't make me want to come back. Will I be told I can't drink because I need to pee?

They just kicked this poor bloke out for taking a piss! Strange hostile behavior. I liked that guy. His only fault was leaving too close behind the people actually doing nefarious activities in the restroom.

Shameful and completely wrong.

Awesome neighborhood bar with pool tables, and a few other table games. Nice glad this is down the street from me, not much to eat. Really affordable drinks and a view of the lake

Lakeview Lounge is exactly the kind of place you want when you’re looking to unwind without pretension.

This isn’t a spot for fancy cocktails—it’s where you grab a cold beer, shoot some pool, and genuinely relax with friends. The interior has never been updated, which gives it a nostalgic, time-capsule feel that adds to its unique character. Yes, there’s a hint of cigarettes in the air and it’s not pristine—but somehow, that only adds to the laid-back charm.

The sign that reads “no politics, no religion” perfectly captures the vibe: this is a place to escape, not to nitpick. Every visit feels like stepping into a space where you can just be, have fun, and leave the outside world behind.

Pool for .50 cents, beer for $5, a dream for a lazy Saturday!

I usually don’t post negative reviews but I felt compelled to share my experience here as a Denver local. The female bartender at Lakeview Lounge last night was incredibly rude, to the point you ask yourself if it’s one of those restaurants where they’re mean to you on purpose. Truly a very disturbing experience that left myself and a member of my party feeling belittled and insulted walking away from just ordering a beer. I will not be coming back to Lakeview Lounge and I would encourage others in my community to take their business elsewhere. Also it smells of sewage in there, and unwashed beer stained carpets.

Stopped in on Friday early morning and Britney was our amazing bar tender. This place is like walking into a time capsule from the 90's. The old school juke box and friendly other patrons made this a fun morning. Highly recommend stopping in if you are thirsty in the morning.

Security was on a power trip. My friend and I came on Halloween and we haven’t had anything to drink, my friend leaned over to talk to a friend and the security came over to kick us out for being “too drunk”. We haven’t had anything to drink before coming and were very disappointed with the way we were treated. Do not come to this bar if little security men are working they get really upset if you’re an inch taller than them.

They are a bar, not a restaurant. Snacks are readily available.

0/5 the bartenders are creepy sexist and disrespectful. Last night me and my friend ordered a coors on draft, the bartender asked for plastic or glass, we said glass, I was given a bottled beer and she was poured a 16oz glass. The bartender (with black glasses clean shaven and stretched ear lobes) left her beer in front of the draft handles for several minutes while he ignored us. After several minutes of trying to wave down a bartender we finally got her beer from a different employee. As she walked away the bartender smiled at her. What was that about? It made all of us uncomfortable and we will not be back

Went here Saturday the bartender seen me standing there for 10 minutes. She kept waiting on other customers as they walked up finally I walked away. So my friend and I jumped on our Harley’s and the bartenders she was standing in the bar looking at us hugging the young guy who works there laughing. I think it’s poor service. That’s really make the bar look bad. I hardly ever come to this bar but definitely won’t be going back anytime soon.
