This is the second time I have dinner with Mugi Ramen & Poke. The first time I complain with the that the noodles with the roasted pork belly was chewy instead of roasted š¤Øterrible. Today I gave a try asking a different option āKatsu Donā . It was supposed to come with a beautiful and nice piece of chicken breast fried. But instead of it, I received a 3 small slice one of the sliced impossible of chewing, so hard like dried old chicken fried.
Terrible food I paid $16,50. This people donāt deserve even one star. Sorry š you guys need to improve.
I was in town for a retreat and I loved the way they greeted me. She was so nice to me and help gave me a few recommendations (gotta try the Gyudon) Their menus provides a great selection with a lot of cool Japanese Drinks to go with your food. I totally recommend this restaurant above all since I love their service and good soul food for the travelers!

Delicious poke bowl! Fast friendly service, options for people who like spicy or not, chicken and tofu for people who don't care for fish.

I love the rice and overall flavor of the poke bowl, especially the house sauce. Unfortunately, the portions of meat are tiny in both the beef bowl and poke compared to other spots in the area. I go here occasionally for convenience but it is not a great value for the price.
Friendly and helpful staff! The menu options are great and everything is always fresh and delicious

Salmon Poke is one of my summer must have items. I like the portion and freshness here, always choose half rice half salad as base, together with yuzu sauce!

Kind of wish I did my research before coming here. This is part of the Edgewater Public Market with the entrance on the outside by the main entry to the market. I ordered online and hoped for the best! I didn't know it was part of a food hall. Sometimes food halls are known for charging extravagant prices without the food matching, and I truly feel like that was the case here.
My bowl was just about 90% rice and 10% topping. There was little to no fish in the bowl, and I paid for an extra sauce and it was still so dry!
The quality of the fish wasn't the worst, but for almost $18 for a three protein bowl.. it better seem like there are three in there. Barely seemed like there was one!
I do not recommend coming here for poke.

This place has gone down from 5 stars to 2 stars. They donāt make the poke in front of you like most places anymore. When I got my fork she touched it with her glove, after take someoneās order. The portions are incredibly small now and they gave me big slices of pineapple. Please correct sanitation and rapid preparation you used to have.

Not great. The lady was kinda rude and quoted 5 to 20 min, which seemed odd. When my pager went off to pick it up less than 5 min later, she used her gloved hand to touch the pager after I and who knows who else touched it, and then she went back to making a bowl.
There was a lot I was disappointed with in the bowl. I got one scoop of regular and one scoop of spicy tuna. The tuna tasted pretty fresh but there was only like 5 cubes of it, they were fairly big though. Lots of spicy tuna, it was very light pink like there was a lot of mayo in it but it tasted good, not really spicy. There was less than a tablespoon of crab salad. There were 4 pieces of pineapple but two were mostly inedible because there was a lot of the core still attached. A tablespoon of shredded carrots. The edamame tasted weird and fermented so I decided not to eat it. One of the 4 slices of cucumber I got was very bitter, like it was soaked in a chemical or something so I immediately spit it out. It was very bizarre. I stopped eating when I got the weird cucumber.
Based on the poor knife skills I saw in the badly cut vegetables, the clear misunderstanding of food safety procedures, the small portions, the concerning edamame and scary bite of cucumber, I think I won't go back. It doesn't seem like there is a professional who knows what they are doing involved in prep and training and I don't want to get sick and also spend $20 on very little food.
