I visited after searching in my jobs neighborhood for a smoothie for lunch. Cool name, I love the layout inside too! I wasn’t familiar so I just ordered a strawberry banana smoothie. I’m so sorry, idk if I came on a bad day or if an ingredient was forgotten… idk, but it was literally the worse smoothie I’ve ever had. Can’t even get myself to drink past the second top line of the cup, I even tried adding some raw sugar to sweeten it up a bit. No luck. There’s a weird after taste too. Eggy or something. Id but it’s gross. Seriously. I just finished and decided to look up the reviews. I’m surprised it seems to be just me. Maybe they had an off day.

I went into Playa Bowls a few times and was met with a wonderful experience each and every visit! The shop itself is amazing, and I can’t get enough of the smoothies. But the best part was the staff, Abbey in particular was welcoming, friendly, and she makes the whole experience come together.
