We love coming here with our kids (on special no-school or late-school, days). The food is always consistently good and the service is always EXCELLENT. If not for the lake, the atmosphere is kind of "meh" . Nothing bad or dirty but just a little basic and could potentially use a little refresh. We live across the Lake and will continue to come here often!

Pretty good place, crowded as hell but well worth anything negative you probably can't find.

Great food, great prices, great portions.Visiting from out of town, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were all very happy with our food (corned hash, steak and eggs, truffle scramble). The biscuits were sooooo good:)

Killer view of Sloan's lake and downtown highrises. I had the huevos rancheros, they were very good... Not a big fan of the roasted tomato concoction, but that's just personal taste.

It was my first visit. Really impressed. I love the diner with an elevated food scale. Fresh and homemade. The chicken fried steak was lovely. Great service. I'll be back.

I had the pleasure of being served by Meagan, and I must say, her exceptional service truly made our dining experience memorable. Meagan was incredibly attentive, professional, and kind throughout our meal, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience exceeded our expectations. One particular instance that stood out was when my mother ordered the white toffee coffee, which initially wasn't as hot in temperature as she prefers. Without hesitation, Meagan promptly refreshed it, ensuring that it was served piping hot and to my mother's satisfaction. Her attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile for her guests truly set her apart. As for the rest of us, we opted for the vanilla chai, which was simply delightful. Alongside our beverages, every breakfast dish we ordered was on point, perfectly cooked and presented with care. Meagan's professionalism, and attentiveness truly enhanced our dining experience. Her dedication to ensuring that each guest leaves satisfied is commendable, and I cannot thank her enough for her outstanding service. If you're looking for a dining experience where exceptional service is guaranteed, I highly recommend requesting Meagan as your server. Thank you, Meagan!

Disappointing. Lame food. Good service. Not sure why this place has such great reviews - very basic. Some of the things were good, but most were barely just ok. Hollandaise sloppy and probably packaged. Eggs were tough and looked very “dineresque”. Biscuits were boring. Gravy was straight up bad and sour. Fake maple syrup.

Ordered benedict to go. When my order came out I wasn't informed. Had to go up and ask for it and it had been sitting there in the cafe getting cold. I checked the box and realized there was little to no hollandaise on the eggs. I asked the lady in the cafe for a side of the hollandaise since they barely out any on there and she basically said no unless she charges me for a side and that they wouldn't add more hollandaise even though it had almost none on there. I said nevermind and left disappointed. I just paid $25 for a Benedict with almost no sauce and 2 pancakes. I work in customer service so I am surprised at how this was handled. Also the potato cakes were burnt.
