I know it’s unfortunately becoming common practice to add hidden fees everywhere but it still always just puts a sour taste on the experience when it happens. No where on the menu was a fee disclosed. But after ordering, I noticed the fee on the payment tablet and then after looking around, on a small label on the counter indicating 15% fee will be added. However they actually charged an 18% additional fee… these deceptive practices ensure I never return.

Latte was good. Ham and Gruyère croissant meh, very mustard forward.

Automatic gratuity added of 15% while We had to stand in line then walk up to get our food too. Beware there is a 15% tip automatically added. Usually I don't tip if there is no service. We both got Choccolate croissants but the chocolate was not in the croissants but in a big lump at the bottom. I was surprised they didn't even warm them up. They just threw them in a box. Cafe is very plain not a place to hang out and it closes at 2pm.

Love this neighborhood spot. Their pastries are unbeatable and the coffee is delicious too. Top rec: whatever seasonal brioche they are serving.

Suzette's is such a gem in Edgewater! We frequently walk here on the weekends and have tried and loved almost everything on their menu. The pistachio croissant and ham and gruyere croissants are family favorites as well as their lovely espresso drinks! Their holiday pies and desserts are out of this world and they even make the delicious, flaky, buttery biscuits for Sloan's Bar and Grill! Would highly recommend!

We came in as a recommendation from a neighbor, but we were honestly very disappointed by our visit. All of the croissants, while with flakey layers, were very soft, dry, and dense rather than being crisp and light. The spinach croissant did have a very great flavor but was extremely soggy. I can kind of understand this, but it was 11am when we went so I expected it to be a bit less soggy. My husband described the ham and greyer crossiant as very flavorless and lacking of ham.

Overall, with a bakery listed at 4.6 stars I had much higher expectations. The fact that a service charge was added to our ticket, but we weren't given plates for our pastries and just had to grab some napkins to eat over was a bit upsetting.

I love that they’re trying, but they’re missing a trick or two. Very sunny morning location, no umbrellas at the outside tables, it’s a hot corner in summer. Seeing people sit outside attracts others & I’ve never seen anyone out there. Pastries are very well made - however the coffee has been really bad the last 3 times I’ve been, threw the last one away & coffee at a shop is such a treat/luxury I can’t risk getting it there anymore. These are all fixable things and I wish them all the good luck in their business, just need to change up a few things.

We drove over here because the place is on inKind and were disappointed. The selection wasn’t that great, the ambiance is plain - it’s not a typical coffee shop vibe that you’d hope to hang out at. Also, the tipping was included and then suggested again - we mistakenly tipped twice. That left an unpleasant feeling. Not going back there.

Love this adorable local bakery! They now serve Lattes & Espresso Drinks with all the fixings! I got a raspberry Almond iced latte and it was SO DELICIOUS! I will for sure be returning. Excited to get my breakfast bagel sandwich and coffee all in one spot! They even carry an Evergreen local roaster Bivouac espresso! 😋

Amazing quickie, chocolate croissant, and raspberry croissant. The owner even threw in a yummy treat for us. She obviously cares about her craft. I love it and this is the type of place we should be supporting

Best bakery in the area, hands down. This is a true hidden gem. Everything is made with love. Nice assortment of treats; both sweet and savory. I have been here a dozen times and everytime it’s a fantastic experience. Great food and great people front of house. Thank you!

First time here based on a recommendations for their amazing croissants. We had a latte, regular coffee, regular croissant and a chocolate croissant. The croissants are excellent and freshly made. I thought my latte was very good. My husband was not happy at all that they didn’t have half and half. I agree that should be a given at a coffee shop/bakery.
