Every time I've been here, I've had great food, and a great experience. The customer service is top notch. They are friendly, accomodating and very pleasant to be around.
Specially the young kids working. It's obvious, they want to be here and don't mind working. The lobby is always clean as well.
Thanks crew.

Let me be very clear, this review/complaint is not about the Elizabeth, CO Dairy Queen. The Elizabeth DQ staff is incredibly friendly and professional. The facility is new and very clean. The food is very delicious. My complaint is about corporate DQ. Friends gave me a $15 eGift Card for 2023 Christmas. A DQ eGift card is not to be confused with a regular DQ gift card. An eGift card is purchased online and does not work properly with the DQ app. I attempted to use my eGift card on January 25. Here's the catch - I failed to read the instructions; which, specifically states to bring the eGift card to the store to redeem. I was in a rush and tried using the DQ app to place an order. The DQ system zeroed out my card and did not place the order. When I arrived at the Elizabeth DQ the store manager suggested I contact DQ customer service. After four calls to DQ customer service I received no satisfaction. So, I sent a letter to Nicolas Boudet, Chief Operating Officer of International DQ Corporation in Bloomington, MN. He passed the letter to Chloe (no last name), their Fan Relation Specialist, at the American DQ Corporation requesting a new $15 gift card since their system zeroed out my card and no food was delivered. Chloe sent me a letter dated 9/25/24 attaching a printed version of the card history. That's it. Shame on you DQ! I have been a loyal customer for well over 50 years; including, but not limited to: 1. Two of those as a seasonal firefighter where we enjoyed DQ treats at least once a week, 2. Five years in Montana where we enjoyed treats even during their harsh winters, and 3. Fifteen+ years where my children and I would go to a Dairy Queen in Aurora, Colorado during a blizzard to enjoy Blizzard treats. My children continue that tradition today. Well, despite my loyal patronage to DQ over these 50+ years, I am saddened at DQ's position of enjoying $15 dollars of pure profit and their poor customer service. Therefore, I am done with DQ. I will no longer share the wonderful DQ memories with family and friends. I will remove my cherished antique DQ sign hanging in my home. And lastly, I will protest their corporate greed and poor corporate customer service by withholding my business at all DQ locations. On a side note, I wonder how much profit DQ earns every year from customers like me who fail to follow the instructions.

The purpose of this message is also to warn other customers to be sure to read the instructions on DQ eGift cards (purchased online). Be sure to take the printed eGift card to a DQ. Do not attempt to use the eGift card using DQ's app. And if you do what I did then do not expect DQ corporate to remedy your mistake.

And lastly, let me repeat my opening statement that this review is directed to corporate DQ and not the Elizabeth, CO DQ. The folks at the Elizabeth, CO DQ are the salt of the earth, professional and friendly.

*** 20 October 2024 customer response to DQ Fan Relations Team response:***
You asked me to contact you directly. Please read my review again. I contacted you four times and received no satisfaction. I even sent a letter to Nicolas Boudet, Chief Operating Officer of International DQ Corporation in Bloomington, MN. He forwarded my letter to Chloe who is a Fan Relations Specialist. She did nothing but confirm that my eGift Card was zeroed out. She claimed your office reached out to me via email several times, but I did not receive any DQ emails (inbox nor junk folders). You sent me a link to DQ's general "contact us" page. Do you want me to start the communications from the beginning? Or you can reach out to me directly. Chloe has my contact information in my letter to Mr. Boudet dated 17 Sept 2024.

Best service I've ever had at any dairy queen and I havr traveled extensively in the recent past. The young manager is familiar with very old (20yrs) blizzard specials and a 5 to 6 yr old summer berry dessert cups. And can still make the Mississippi mud pie blizzard but doesn't have the mixed berries for the summer berry cake treat. But they always find a way of making something I will love.

First, I have to say that I've always liked DQ's ice cream and treats and still do. It's the non dessert food that's the problem. I had a burger at one years ago and swore I would only eat the ice cream. I was working in the area and decided to give DQ another chance at dinner with the chicken strip basket. The chicken strips were hard, tasteless, and lukewarm, as were the fries and toast. If 'Happy Tastes Good', maybe this meal was still mourning a deep loss, and maybe unresolved childhood trauma? The service was also slow, uncoordinated and confused. I'll visit DQ again, but just for dessert.
