We did takeout yesterday, Sat, June 14, 2025. Been a couple of years since last time we did Bono's. Clearly, something has changed. 5 Stars from prior visits. This visit is, as best, a 3. The smoked turkey was a 3. The baby backs were maybe a 4. The smoked wings were mostly burnt on the outside, hence a 2. The brisket was weird; looked like the meat had been boiled, because it was sort of a light grey vs. the usual smoke ring and pinkish meat, hence a 2. The jalapeno...
Ordered to go, but service inside was good too. Got the chicken platter with a rib. All the meat was fall off the bone and amazing. Chicken was flavored great, rib was perfect. Mac and cheese is generic but the beans were great. Will definitely be back to try more
